Summary: Jam It Is Right
Review: A lot of hype for what it is: poorly made and pretty useless.

Review: Dont bother. Got this for my nephew and it was too frustrating for him. It was difficult to use due to its poor quality.

Review: I BOUGHT IT FOR MY SON AND I JUST WANT U TO KNOW THAT IT IS GOOD BUT IT IS WORTHLESS IT SO DIFFICULT TO WORK AND EVERYTHING ELSE

Summary: Rip-off at ANY price
Review: I bought this for my 6-year old son, and it was a complete waste of money. One of those Hallmark greeting cards that records your voice is a MUCH better value. This thing records about 30 seconds of sound (4-bit very bad mono quality). Even the 30-seconds of recorded sound is a joke, as it frequently self-corrupted (just clicked) -- so good luck! Save your money!

Summary: One of the great rip offs of our time.
Review: I bought this when there was a rebate making the effective price $0.Of course I never got the rebate, but even if I had, I would have paid too much. It sounds bad, the software locks up your PC, and it stopped working after 1 day. There is no reason for anyone to ever buy this product, unless you want to give it to someone you want to know how much you hate.

Review: I used to have one of these when I was about 5. I'm a kid, yes. People, it's about [X]. What good are you going to get from an elctronic piece of equipment for [X]? It's a toy! I see these in the TOY isle in stores! Some of your reviews seem as if you're comparing this to NASA technology! It's a fun little toy! Any Amazon workers that see this should directly send a message to those in the sorting department and put this under toys!

Summary: Jam It in the trash can
Review: If zero stars were an option, the Jam It would truly deserve them. The negative reviews are true. Don't waste your time or money on this.

Summary: Don't get this
Review: Its the worst worst worst thing you can get as a microphone or voice recorder. better off just give me the money instead and I'll give you a rock. you might have more use and fun with it. DON'T buy! its been 5 months and my rebate never came!

Summary: Pretty useless
Review: My first case of disappoinment was when I noticed that I bought a previously used item. The software cd had fingerprints all across the back, and no seals were intact.

We proceeded despite this condition. The instructions were followed to the letter, yet I was not able to get any sound from my computer. I like the concept, but it shouldn't be this hard!

Now I plan to get a refund, if it is not too late!

Summary: At least the kids like it
Review: The KB JamIt isn't worth much as a piece of useable equipment, but my small children think it's a hoot.

I purchased this product with a rebate offer, which took almost 16 weeks to arrive. By the time the rebate check did arrive (after I filed a complaint with the FTC's rebate report), it was postmarked three months earlier and had a "cash by" of *the next day*. I promptly cashed the check, which was made of the finest quality rubber and bounced higher than a Blazer basketball. There is no information available to contact KB, so it's off the FTC and BBB I go. If there were a 1/2 star rating, I'd give it to the JamIt (rhymes with what I said when I saw the bounced check charge on my bank statement) for their poor customer service alone, not to mention the shoddy piece of equipment that was barely worth the $.32 to mail the rebate.
