Summary: It depends how you use
Review: Actually I had another one but not this one. Because it's small, it would easily be down sometimes. However, it's a good product to learn a language if you keep on recording something. So I wish next person who make a review can tell me something about the product because I want to buy this without the same problem as my old one.

1. When recording, do we have to keep on pressing the botton? You know sometimes we are interviewing with someone and we can't press it all the time.

2. Is it easily be out of order by falling into the desk/table? You know IC recorder is more fragile than a tape recorder. Sometimes it's just out of order soon.

thanks

Summary: Waste of Money
Review: I bought this for my wife to record thoughts in the car and in the middle of the night. At about the same time she figured out how to make it work (two days) it stopped functioning. I fiddled with the battery contacts and got it to go it bit more. We then replaced batteries. Finally, after about 2 weeks, the thing stopped functioning all together. Even when it did function properly the sound quality was so bad it was almost unintelligible. It is not expensive enough to justify the hassle of a return, so I remain a very unhappy customer. I think Sony is now making so many products they have forgotten about quality. This was a major disappointment.

Summary: Sound Quality is Poor
Review: I like the size and other features but the playback sound quality is so poor that you have to very intently listen to understand what you said. I am going to get rid of it.

Summary: no more paper
Review: I us this product to remind me of things I need to accomplish daily as well as things I will need to make notes of for future projects. In my line of work I have many ideas and thoughts being presented to me on a daily basis. I was trying to write all this down on paper. This tool will enable me to be more efficient and organized. In turn more successful. The sound quality is not the best but it meets my personal recording needs. Perfect for in the car or the bedside for those that are always thinking! I hope that includes you. ENJOY!

Summary: A nifty little gadget
Review: I usually remember something important or have some great idea while I'm in my car, but I don't want to try to write it down while I'm driving (too dangerous).

This little voice balloon hangs from my rear view mirror and lets me record these ideas until I can get home and write them down.

I've been using it a couple of weeks now and it has been very handy. You can record up to 99 seperate messages (or up to 12 minutes), which is plenty for me. It's very easy to use while you're driving...just push the big button, talk, and push the big button again when your done.

Summary: Great value!
Review: The Sony Balloon is a great buy. I use it to record brief memos (phone numbers, appointments, etc), and then pass them on to my Palm. Sure, the sound could be better, but it is good enough for you to understand what you've recorded quite well. For $50, it's a great buy, and you may want to consider a PDA to go with it (I recommend palm). If you have more serious recording needs (ie transcriptions, etc.) you may want to consider something else.

Summary: Really a cool product.
Review: This is a big help for people like me who remember "things to be done" at odd hours.
