Summary: This mouse is great!
Review: I bought this mouse about a week ago and I have to say that it is the best wireless mouse compared to others of equal size. I am a PowerBook user that has built in bluetooth, and as such the computer recognized the mouse after I paired the two. More or less, I didn't even touch the manual because setup is easy. All I have to do now that the computer and mouse are paired is click the mouse and it is recognized. The battery life is astounding as I have yet to change the batteries that came with it after constant use over the past week. The tracking is great and MacOS X takes care of the rest. This is a mouse for people that have bluetooth enabled computers and like to travel with a small mouse rather than a Logitech or Microsoft behemoth.

Summary: Pocket Mouse? It's bigger than any Mouse I've owned
Review: I haven't opened the package yet, so this is not a functional review. I bought this for my wife to use with her Powerbook on business trips. I read the name of the mouse, saw that it pitches it's "Compact" size, that it has a travel bag and thought that it was a wireless version of the tiny Kensington mice I've seen in the store.

Wrong. This thing is huge! It's bigger than a Microsoft Inellimouse. It would barely fit in my pocket -- the name and description are misleading to the extent that they border on false advertising.

I plan to return this mouse and keep looking.

Summary: So far, so good.
Review: I just got this mouse a few hours ago so I will have to update this review in a month or so but so far it is great. Free shipping from Amazon and a bit pricey for a mouse but on the lower end for a bluetooth mouse at this point in time. I am running Mac OS X 10 and set up was a breeeze, it took a matter of seconds. I like this mouse because it has two buttons and a scroll wheel which you aren't going to find on an Apple branded mouse. Comes with batteries and a short book on how to set it up but not any software or bluetooth adapter so only buy it if you already have bluetooth on your computer. So far, so good but I will update if this changes.

Summary: Great mouse
Review: I purchased this mouse for use with my new PowerBook and have really enjoyed it.

My only complaints stem from my lack of Bluetooth knowledge as this is the first BT device I have purchased. After a little understanding of how OSX communicates with BT devices, the set-up was easy.

The included software is great and very customizable. The included bag is handy for storage in my luggage. Overall, a good buy.

Summary: Alternative with Applesque design
Review: If you are upgrading from a one button Apple Wireless Mouse or you own an Apple laptop and want to be free of wires, I would recommend you also consider the the well designed BT Mouse from MacMice (www.macmice.com/themousebt.html).
Someone really should resell it here on Amazon too.
I am personally still hoping for someone to produce a BlueTooth trackball.

Summary: Works well
Review: Initially, I couldn't get my Dell Inspiron 8600 with internal Bluetooth to discover the PocketMouse. After several attempts, I moved it further away from my laptop (about 3 feet), and it paired the first try. I haven't had any troubles with it since. I didn't install any software; it just worked with XP SP2.

As was mentioned by another name, the "PocketMouse" name is somewhat misleading; this mouse is much larger than a typical notebook mouse. It's a bit smaller than a standard desktop mouse.

The materials quality is good; the buttons have a good feel, and the mouse has some heft (contributed mostly by the two AA batteries, which surprisingly are included). My only minor complaint is with the scroll wheel: it's not a smooth scroller, and it takes a little more effort to click than I'd like.

There's no on/off switch; the mouse turns itself off after an inactivity period, or when the paired computer shuts down. Inactivity is determined by the optical sensor, not a motion sensor, and a button click is required to turn the mouse back on, so it's probably safe to carry it on an airplane without removing the batteries.
