Summary: I'll Never Go Back To A Mouse
Review: I've been using this trackball professionally (I'm a graphic designer) and at home for the last 3 years. I bought it because I was experiencing cramping in my forearm from repetitive stress. From the moment I first started using the trackball, I could tell the difference. The cramping ceased almost immediately.

I've tried other trackballs (Logitech and the Kensington Expert) none of them offered the control and comfort that the Orbit did. Because of the intense focus on the thumb, the Logitech model I tried actually made my problem worse.

The best thing is that with programmable button behaviors, you don't have to give up your scrolling wheel. You can program the Orbit to act just the same when you click the right and left buttons at the same time!

On top of everything else...you can claim back your desk. No more wandering mouse syndrome. No mouse pads. No falling off of the mouse pad. And no more revving up your mouse like it was a Hot Wheels car to move it around the screen.

It can be difficult to clean, especially after 3 years, but I've had no complaints and recommend this model to everyone I know.

Summary: Very comfortable and easy to use, but...
Review: I've had it a little over a year, and it's been sticking and not moving well. When cleaning it, I found the rollers were significantly deteriorated. Not sure I got my money's worth out of it (paid more than the price here). It's so comfortable and versatile that I'm still considering buying another. This is a good choice, overall.

Summary: Kensington Orbit good choice
Review: If your looking for a trackball this is the one it works great with WINDOWS ME. I totally enjoy mine and I don't believe I'll ever return to a mouse.

Summary: It works great for the price
Review: It is not the best mouse but you get used to it.

Summary: Chip quality.
Review: It is responsitive mouse but tiny balls which hold the big ball made from plastic. Terefore ball turns to hard , it makes pointer jump.
To difficult move pointer to exact place on the screen.

Summary: Much better than a mouse.
Review: It takes a little getting used to but ut is worth it. Much more practical than a mouse, takes up less room, and the ball won't get stuck or worn out as easy.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: Keeping in mind that I was using a very cheap [amt.] mouse five minutes ago, this trackball is so nice! I just hooked it up (still downloading the free software mentioned in the owner's manual) and I've never found a mouse this comfortable. I've worked in data entry for the past five years, not to mention the fact that I use my computer several hours a day at home. I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of their standard mouse sticking (I can already see I'll never have to pick this one up from the pad). So, I think it is safe to say that I am very happy with the product, especially considering how inexpensive it is.

Summary: Uncomfortable design
Review: My Microsoft Intellimouse Trackball quit on me after long usage so I bought this one today at Circuit City. It wasn't an easy choice given all the confusing models on the shelves! I prefer the trackball design over the older "moving" mouse which was a real chore for me to use. Initially, the ball moved the curser quite quickly and freely around the screen. However, after about 10 minutes, I noticed myself frequently hitting the left button when I clearly didn't intend to.
Also, my wrist became tense and would cramp up from using it. I think it was due to the wide frontal design. I put my old Intellimouse in its place and found I didn't have the pain nor discomfort. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this mouse based on my own experience with it. I think I'll get another Intellimouse which I would recommend.

Summary: simplicity holds the answer.
Review: this is quite possibly the greatest input device ever. Besides the fact that you never have to deal with moving the mouse around. running out of mousepad space. or tangling the wires. It is large and fits your hand perfectly. Over the course of my 10 years of using computers. i have seen it all. mice, optical mice, touchpad, touchpoint, and trackballs. and i can honestly say that this is the best input device i have ever used, great for photo editing (photoshop) flash movie making, and playing games. including RTS games (red alert, starcraft, homeworld) and FPS games (unreal tournament, jedi knight) this is the one you want. and you cant beat the price!!!

Summary: easy to use
Review: This trackball was a gift and I enjoyed it very much, exept that you have to clean it often and the (rollers?) don't last very long. Within a year I had to replace the mouse.
