Summary: Excellent MinDisc Player/Recorder
Review: This is a perfect player for someone who enjoys editing and putting together minidiscs from their vast cd collections. Sharp has done a great job by putting out such an inexpensive yet powerful little player/recorder. Definitely worth the price and more! Hope you enjoy yours.

Summary: Sharp MDMT15S mini disc player
Review: This is a really great mini disc player for the price. You are able to do numerous things with it. It is great to listen to just about anywhere. The sound quality is awesome. Also, it is able to get really loud so if you are on a bus or something you are still able to hear your music. It is really easy to learn how to operate so you can start recording right away. I hope you have fun with yours like I do.

Summary: Great Product....
Review: This is the best Minidisc player/recorder on the market right now. I have used just about every single minidisc player and this one towers over the competition. It has the easiest recording system and is has the best playback quality of any other minidisc device. I think that this is the best product for your money, it is not as expensive as most other devices either. THIS IS A MUST HAVE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A MINIDISC SYSTEM.

Summary: have it but i don't want it anymore
Review: This is the cheapest MD player I have seem so far. I got it last week. But I don't want it anymore because my father bought me the Sony. The Sony is 150 more expensive but doesn't allow you to name the song like this one . BUT it the sony is 1/2 thiner than this one. I need to get rid of this MD. Whom want it? I will sell it cheap.

Summary: Awesome Cheap Machine
Review: This machine is so good, recording songs from anything is easy. You can record from a cd or mp3's downloaded off the internet. It's really easy to divide tracks and it makes very good quality sound. The only bad thing is there is no remote but I was able to live with that. This is a quality machine and it is worth every penny and more. If you want a cheap minidisc player that is built nothing on quality, get the Sharp MD-MT15 you won't regret buying this machine.

Summary: Sharp MD-MT15 Just What The Audio Doctor Ordered
Review: This player is just what I need. It's affordable and it has every feature I care about. I don't need a remote--I don't run around with it--I use it in the car and at home. That's also why the fact it's bigger and thicker than some MD's doesn't matter at all. It doesn't come with a rechargeable battery--so I ordered one. Besides, you can pop in AA's. The unit uses the latest MD circuitry and is 24-bit. Recordings sound great. So far, after several months of use, it has been reliable. I did have a Sharp 702, which, when it's working, is a good little machine, too. Outside of the remote and battery, the MT15 does EVERYTHING that recorder does. So, if you're not concerned about size, remote and rechargeable battery, as well as certain features the newer Sonys might have [which, to me, don't matter much], spend fewer dollars on this one.

Summary: What are you talking about?
Review: those of you who said you arent allowed to divide tracks with this MD player, did you actually try reading the manual? You actually CAN divide tracks with this player and it is very easy. I would definately recomend this player

Summary: The best at the price?
Review: What are the marketing people doing? Having a holiday? Out to lunch? Dead? This is an amazing piece of kit at the price. Frankly, it's stunning. Why pay more for a personal MD? Put it like this ... I bought this thing more out of curiosity - after I heard it, I bought a Sony minidisc hi-fi for the home, and then I bought a Blaupunkt MD for the car. In fact, the whole MD concept is amazing. Who needs CDs? No-one needs tapes. MD is where it should be at. My advice is that if you don't know about MD, then find out. If you do, then you would do much worse than to buy the Sharp MDMT15S Portable MiniDisc Player/Recorder. And the company ain't paying me anything (yet!). They just got it right first time (like someone got the Lexus 400 right first time). And MD (and the Sharp) is superb. Don't trust me, go out and listen to it, trust your ears, and buy one ... now!.

Summary: A PIECE OF JUNK!
Review: Yes, it plays minidiscs, you can record to it and its cheap, but Sharp left out one little feature that every minidisc player should have. The ability to divide one track into two. If your like me and have a lot of music with no silent spots to mark the seperation of tracks, you wont like this product. The only way it knows a new track is comming is by a three second lapse in sound. The only way one could manualy mark tracks is to hit the record button at the EXACT TIME THE NEXT TRACK STARTS. I'm quite sure no one here has that kind of time and patience. Every other Sharp MD player/recorder has the ability to divide tracks, so if you dont want to live with annoying skips in your music, pay the extra $ and get the Sharp MDMS702. You can divide tracks, and you have the nice remote that every other MD player has. ITS WORTH IT!

Note to those who bought this player with the Voquette media manager, DONT BOTHER. The hardware for the thing is just a fancy power adapter and standard audio cable. Their software is just a glorified MP3 player, that you can download for FREE! So save yourself the extra $ and get a audio cable and use the adapter supplied.
