Powered by Aureal's own 300 MIP Vortex1 AU8820 audio processor chip, the Vortex1 PCI integrates an audio acceleration engine, 64-voice studio-quality wavetable synthesizer, and digital game port on a single high-performance PCI board. In addition, Vortex1 PCI supports A3D, the most advanced positional 3D technology available today.
