Description:

Weighing less than six pounds, the TDP-S3 is light enough for frequent travelers to carry in an overnight tote or notebook computer bag. Yet, with its 2000 ANSI lumen brightness and optional expansion module for upgraded connectivity, it also meets the requirements for ceiling installation in conference centers, classrooms, auditoriums, and training facilities.

Advanced features include Texas Instruments' Digital Light Processing technology for maximum visual impact from a small-footprint device, variable brightness settings (2,000 or 1,600 lumens), native SVGA (800 x 600) resolution, 400:1 contrast ratio, a built-in 3-watt speaker, a wireless remote control. Faroudja DCDi (Directional Correlational De-Interlacing) technology provides the highest-resolution picture with smooth and natural edges and the ultimate in accuracy and detail.

The user-friendly TDP-S3 offers data compatibility with VGA, SVGA, Macintosh, and 1080i/720p HDTV receivers, as well as video compatibility with NTSC, PAL, SECAM, PAL-M, and PAL-N signals. An M1-DA analog connector with USB assures compatibility with Window and Macintosh PCs, while the manual zoom lens, digital keystone correction (+/- 20 degrees), and secure elevator foot make it easy to get the best image size, focus, and position every time. For greater versatility, there are front/rear and ceiling/desktop projection methods.

The TDP-S3 also accommodates an optional snap-on expansion module that converts it from a lightweight portable unit to a fixed conference-room model. With the module, you can create multimedia presentations using DVD players, HDTV receivers, camcorders, digital cameras, and gaming consoles. The TDP-S3 is backed by a two-year warranty with 90-day coverage of the lamp.
