Review: Verbatim Ditto Max 7 GB cartridges frequently do not work, even right out of the box it gets an error message indicating it is an "Unrecognizable Format". This is when they are used in the drive they are created for, and when other identical cartridges do work. After a period ranging from 1 use to 50 uses, none of them work, getting the same "Unrecognizable Format" error. The design of the cartridge does not allow for re-formatting the cartridge when this occurs.
