Summary: Be careful - These things doen't work
Review: I bought 100 of these dvd's because of the price. Be very careful - they do NOT work at all. It's like entering a piece of paper in your dvd writer - NOTHING AT ALL.

Review: I have the Sony 500UL external burner - these work great in it. I've burnt over 200 with only about 3 "coasters" made (and it was my fault - nothing to do with the DVD-Rs). The finished product works in all the players I've tried (about 10). I'm very pleased and you can't beat the price.

Summary: Great for data and drive backup
Review: I've used these disks for data backup, disk images, etc. I've had no problems at all with the media and the software verified all burns as flawless. Sure I'd prefer 4x speed, but for the money you can't ask for more.If you have a DVD burner, this is the cheapest insurance you can purchase.

Review: These media will probably work on a lot of standalone dvd players however if you are like myself and have a dvd player that is somewhat picky with media (Philips) then this stuff is a waste of money. Yes the cost per disc is cheap but you have to ask yourself is it worth being out 100 bucks to figure out if these discs work on your particular dvd player.
