Summary: Excellent external burner, with flexibilty
Review: This is a great product! I bought this after the growing need to burn music and data CD'ss became to high (my Indigo iMac only has a CD-ROM drive.)
It works seamlessly with my iMac and Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar.) It has a practical and interesting appearance; it has a beautiful grey covereing with cool purple see-through rims. Very neat. And it is easily stackable.

The performance of it could not be better. Only one errored burn, but I explain it later. Not the burner's problem directly.
The whole thing is ultra quiet too, like a little panther of a burner. However, I reccomend purchasing Toast Titanium if you have a Mac, because the extremely basic software that comes with it doesn't compare to its more devloped full-featured product.

But for music CDs', it syncs with iTunes seamlessly. Barely knows it is there. Although my speeds are only 2x with usb, it still is persistent. This burner is very flexible, offereing a USB cable OR a Firewire cable, along with an extra Firewire port for optional dasiy-chaining.

Two things to mention: if you are using USB (1.1 pretty sure, although I THINK it offers 2.0 also), set in iTunes burning preferences to burn speed as 2x.

I dont think this is the burner's problem directly, but when I tried to hook the burner up to a Belkin USB hub, it didn't work, which is strange because it has it's own source of power. So I unplugged the hub and plugged the burner into my computer directly and voila`! It worked. Only one messed up burn.

Overall, this is an excellent product. Highly reccommended!
