Summary: On the edge of the jungle -
Review: - you're lying in your hammock, listening to the BBC World Service .

Nice little machine. Speaker is adequate, tuning reasonably easy, controls straightforward, battery life good. Handles humidity, heat and jostling well. Compact and inexpensive.

The clock's ability to show two time zones simultaneously is nice and the alarm means you don't have to lug around a travel alarm clock.

Do keep a post-it or notepaper in the case (along with the instructions) to jot down favorite stations. A small set of headphones lets you listen without bothering your travel companions.

Summary: Small but powerful
Review: Excellent bargain for the person on the go. Outstanding reception of distant am/fm stations. Lots of features for the price.

Review: Got the radio as a Christmas gift. I like the compact combination of clock and radio. I like that it has a dual clock and alarm. However, it would be nice if the display had a light and if the unit came with an AC adapter. It's a nice basic unit.

Summary: Grundig Traveller II PE - Great Product
Review: I received my radio two days ago and have been very pleased with its performance and features. What sets this radio apart from most is the integrated clock: wakeup and sleep functions. The reception is excellent. Comes with a nice protective carry case. I also like the size/weight. Although the sound quality from the speaker is not high-fidelity, it isn't bad either; and, when used with the headphones (which are included with the radio) the sound is very good indeed. I also plug in my computer speaker system at home with good effect. I live in an area with lots of power cuts and a battery-powered radio alarm is just what I was looking for!

Summary: Good and Dependale Radio
Review: It is amazing what Grundig has managed to put in this little radio. The receiver pulls in an amazing amount of stations, especially in the evening. The size makes it very handy to pack in a suitcase or to just carry out onto the deck. The digital clock also has a digital display that helps you tune in a station at its strongest point. The little speaker works fine and the ear buds are very comfortable a provide a high quality sound. For [the money], this is an excellent deal!

Summary: poor quality, did not last
Review: Poor sound and poor reception on all bands. Although it was taken care of, it died after 10 months of very light use. Save your money.

Summary: A must for anyone traveling overseas!
Review: The perfect size to fit in a suitcase, this feature-laden little radio comes with a leather case and ear buds. Even has a little stand on the back to keep it upright on your night table. The shortwave comes in handy on extended trips abroad when you want a little taste of home to ease homesickness. Highly recommended for anyone who travels frequently!

Summary: The quality of the speaker is very poor!
Review: The speaker for the Grundig TR2PE Traveller II is HORRIBLE!!! It is no better than a speaker from one of those transitor radios that I use to have as a kid. I thought German technology was better than that. If you want a good quality Grundig shortwave radio I HIGHLY suggest that you buy a higher quality model. Before I bought the Traveller II I had a Grundig Yacht Boy and it was excellent. However, I dropped it and my Yacht Boy is no more. So, I decided to buy this model. What a waste of money!!!

Summary: Good little traveler
Review: This is really a great am/fm/sw radio-I take it everywhere, and the reception is good for a radio with such a small speaker.I have had many small traveling radios, but nothing that is constructed as well as this one.I just with it had a light,so you could see the time in the dark.I would recommend this radio to anyone who is on the go,because it takes up very little room in your suitcase.
