1. PURCHASING: Xandros 2.5 is out, however Amazon does not carry it, and a email I got from them aluded that they probably will not. I tried to get a boxed version directly from the company, but they wanted $38.00 to ship it to Alaska, with no other options (com'mon Xandros, Alaskans are remote, but not stupid) so I had to purchase the downloaded version and burn it to disk. I bothered the company enough about shipping that they sent me a 15% off code to be used during the download purchase, which brought the price to 75 US dollars. Be sure to follow the directions for disk burning if you are not familiar with the term

Review: product is ok. but i feel its too expensive. if u know linux basics already, buy a burned redistribution of suse 9 professional on amazon or ebay for under 10 bucks.
