Summary: Excellent, affordable, premium sound quality, I love it!
Review: This Aiwa portable CD player is the best! It makes my car speakers sound better than they really are. For the money, this little CD player is a great value. Aiwa products generate great sound, and I love the features such as "resume" and the extra bass. This player never skips, and was simple to use and install into my car. For those people who wrote about having trouble turning it on, don't listen. All you do is press the play button! I get in my car, turn it on, and press play! Simple, premium sound, sleak design - in one word, AIWA!

Summary: EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY AND PHENOMINAL SOUND!!!
Review: This is an unbelievable buy! AIWA did a great thing when they invented this c.d. player! The quality of sound is enhanced even when used in your automobile! I was very satisfied with my merchandise and AIWA has excellent customer service. Amazon's low price just sweetens the deal! If you're looking for a portable c.d. player, buy this one, you will NOT be disappointed! The anti-skip function works whether you accidentally bump the player or are exercising! If appearance matters, the design of the player is also satisfying to the eye! All in all, it's the best buy!

Summary: OK but not built to last
Review: Works fine for price but you get what you pay for. Tape adaptor broke after 2 months. Sound quality is average. Often when it skips it shuts off. No backlit display.

Summary: Better sound and bass then almost all Sony Discmans...
Review: Yeah thats right , this Aiwa masterpiece has the best Bass and sound . Like when I play most of my rap cd's on it you can hear the lyrics and the bumping bass bump , but when I play it on my friends "Esp2" Sony Discman it scribbles the bass , meaning that when the rapper raps you cant hear what hes saying since its making a scratching sound . To put that in english the bass is Horrid on the Sony discman and you have to put it at a point where you get no bass at all and that kinda sucks on a Rap CD or any other CD , but Aiwa's CD is a price of $80 thats more then half of Sony's $180 sport or "street design" "bs" CD Discmans. Eass is just in terms all the other high tech esp there is , take Esp2 by Sony same thing , just a different name . Take Esp3 by Phillips Magnovox same thing just different name by licences . So this means that this Aiwa wont skip what so ever . . . the only bad part about this Cd Player is that mine eats the Battery life like popcorn (6 hours with Eass/8 hours without) , but dont get discourage by that since you will probably use the car kit in the rode and the Adaptor in your home so you wont really use all the battery life , besides you can recharge em with the built in battery recharger . Ohh yeah dont forget this has 40 sec ESP2 that matches and beats Sony's "street" design discman not only by , sound , quality , car kit, but by price ! Sony 40 sec Esp2= $180 Awia = $80 DO THE MATH .
