Summary: Zero wasn't an option
Review: I bought this player thinking it was pretty good. For awhile after I bought it I thought it was, it had good sound, a remote, and two headphone jacks. After less than a month of moderate use ( maybe 2 hours every other day) the motor burned out completely ( My five year old cd player still works like new compared to this). Do not buy this one, buy any other cd player but this one!

Summary: Spend the extra $10 and get the Sony
Review: I bought this with two main uses in mind: 1) for me to use while on the treadmill and 2) for my son to use for his auditory integration training. He has autism and this therapy involves listening to specially engineered CDs for 30 minutes twice a day. He uses large headphones and wears the CD player around his waist in a soft case. I can get this player to do nothing BUT skip, and it skips constantly. When my son wears it, I use the hold button so he can't accidentally shut it off, but it always shuts down by itself before the 30 minutes is up. He isn't rough with it at all, I just think the player can't handle any motion. When I'm on the treadmill, it also skips like crazy. I can't get into a rhythm with my walking to the music at all because it keeps skipping. It isn't even worth using anymore for either of these purposes. I also have had problems with it recognizing CDs and have to remove/replace the disk several times before it finally gets it and starts playing. I bought this one because I felt I couldn't really afford $50 for a Sony, but thought that this one at $40 (and marketed so heavily by Target) would be just as good quality. Nope. Now I'm going to shell out an additional $50 to get the Sony so I have something that works. Do yourself a favor and get a Sony.

Summary: It WAS okay
Review: I got mine at target for $40.00 and it broke within two months. Do not buy. If you choose not to heed my warning, just keep the box and the reciept or else you'll have to pay $15.00 to repair it.

Summary: this is a great cd player
Review: I own a Virgin Mobile phone, which I love, so I wasn't too hesitant to try this new line, Virgin Pulse. This CD player is excellent, especially for the low price. The FM tuner works well and the remote comes in handy. It's light weight, and comes with a great hand-strap that is great for multi-tasking. I don't really use the double headphone jacks, but it's still a nice feature to have. Also, I cannot get it to skip. However, it's been eating batteries like crazy, even though it claims to have a 30-hour or so battery life. The only other thing I wish it had was the ability to play MP3s. Other then that, it's a great CD player and a really good deal.

Summary: This would be great, but they keep breaking....
Review: I really enjoy the sound quality and overall performance of this product. If you ignore the fact that I've owned 2 in less than two months and both have broken. I returned the second today and won't be buying another. Here's hoping for a better CD player for Christmas.

Summary: Worst CD player. Ever.
Review: This is a shoddy product and I would urge you to get a different brand. The only reason that I gave this two stars is that it has a nice radio bulit in. I got this just after x-mas and now it won't play CD's. It was great at first but now it dosen't do crap. Get anything BUT this.
