Summary: It Takes Time, But It's Worth It
Review: Having tried the L&H program, I returned it and bought Dragon NaturallySpeaking Standard v. 4. It took about a week for me to "teach" it enough to take dictation faster than I could type. I now dictate with much higher accuracy than I type.
However, the "Preferred" version will read back what you write or scan into a document, and I wish I had bought that version. The upgrade is much too expensive, in my opinion, because the cost of Standard plus the cost of the upgrade is much higher than the Preferred version costs.
