Description:

XtraMail 1.2 is full-featured e-mail server software that's suitable for both internal and external business communications. Priced and designed for small businesses, it offers the robustness and scalability to meet the demands of growing businesses.

XtraMail 1.2 provides simple and effective ways to set up, manage, and maintain your own corporate e-mail system; even novices can create a company-wide e-mail system. You might begin by setting up your users with individual Post Office Protocol (POP) accounts, which are established through your ISP. As you grow, XtraMail will support multiple POP accounts, or a single, shared POP account that's associated with a corporate domain; for example, you@yourcompany.com. If your company chooses to set up its own domain, XtraMail saves you money by allowing you to use a single, shared ISP account for all your corporate e-mail. XtraMail will search actively through e-mails that have been received at the single account, and sort them into individual employee e-mail boxes.

Because XtraMail 1.2 uses POP3 and SMTP standards, you aren't tied to a specific e-mail client; all of your employees can use the browser or e-mail clients of their choice to send and receive e-mail. XtraMail also gives you features that include intelligent mail routing, event logging, and easy, automatic ISP dialup support. Use the control panel to configure XtraMail servers locally or remotely, and monitor system activity from anywhere on your network. The IP/relay restriction features allow you to determine the servers that can relay e-mail through your server to a destination. In this way, only e-mail that's destined for your company will have access to your server. Three new XtraMail control buttons allow you to dial up your ISP instantly, download e-mail from your POP accounts, or forward e-mail to another destination, instead of having to wait for scheduled dialup or downloads.
