Summary: Do NOT buy this loser
Review: Acutally, it should be zero stars, maybe even minus ten stars.
I bought this worthless piece of junk application thinking it would be a suitable replacement for the Palm Desktop software I use now. Like the Desktop, it comes with an expense manager, notepad, task manager, calendar, contact manager, and such. It also comes with a wide variety of pre-designed forms. This is what really excited me.
What the outside of the box DOES NOT TELL YOU is that the only things it will sync with on any of the PDA devices it claims to support are your calendar, to-do/tasks and contact/address book entries. The remainder of your PDA data will sync into the old Desktop application, forcing you to have to retain it. You cannot import them into AnyTime.
So, I decided to scrap AnyTime. This is where the next heartache begins. The uninstaller leaves the conduits in place that sync into AnyTime forcing you to have to uninstall the Palm Desktop as well to remove them.
Help is non-existant as well. Individual Software will respond with apologies and tell you they will forward your request but no one actually helps you.
My recommendation -- look elsewhere for an alternative to the Palm Desktop. I haven't found anything yet. I had thought for a few hours I had, but... So, before you even try it, be sure to back up your data from your old desktop environment. My back up was two weeks old so you can figure out what I lost in the process of learning a lesson.
To the buyer beware. Do not buy anything from Individual Software. Take it from one who knows, you're making a major mistake if you do buy this application.

Summary: Room for improvement
Review: Anytime Organizer Deluxe 9.0
I purchased this software primarily to track appointments and other events and for the most part it fits that purpose.

It runs fine on Windows XP except for one small problem. Occasionally, while setting event details, something causes the window to be minimized below the taskbar where you cannot easily restore it.

Pros
*Each view (day, month, week, year, adress book, etc.) opens as a seperate window allowing you to tile the windows and view them together.
*It is easy to move around within the program, find specific dates, events, tasks etc.
*You can set up Groups (birthdays, anniversaries...) and set each wih a certain color.
*You can download addiional events such as holidays from the website.

Cons
*Does not save views - If you tile the day planner view with the address book, only one of them comes up the next time you start the program.
*There are several user options that seem to be missing. Weeks start with Sunday and cannot be changed (I prefer Monday). Color options are limited to changing the address book and day planner, but this only changes the color of some text and a small border. The background is white and cannot be changed.
*You cannot delete any of the default groups.
*Events are not shown the selected color in the month view.

*There could be more international holidays to download.

Recommendation: It's not a low-cost bad program and from what I've seen it's one of the few with an address book. Check around online. There are several for which you can download trial versions.

Summary: very good address book
Review: I bought this software for the address book feature as an upgrade/update to Day-Timer Address Book 2000. Although as the other reviewer says there is room for improvement, I'm very happy with the program. I was even able to use the import feature to bring in my info from DTAB. The import worked fairly well and saved me hours of rekeying.
I miss DTAB's double-sided printing wizard and have not been able to get Anytime to print properly on both sides of a page, but other than that I've had no problems. I like the address book view page and the print layout views that looks onscreen like the actual printed book.
I haven't used any of the other program features and can't comment on them.
