Summary: pretty funny ladies, but too much bad language
Review: The queens of comedy consists of four comedian women telling some of the most funniest dirtiest jokes ever with plenty of foul language. If you don't like hearing alot of vulgar language or profanity, then this is not for you. but if you do, then go ahead and buy it! The funniest lady was Monique and the she was the most profane out of them all. They all tell jokes about sex, about white pple, black pple, skinny women and fat women, etc. Monique tells the jokes about how she cannot stand skinny b*tches and how they ought to eat more and that if she ever sees one she's gonna bust the skinny b*tch over the head. That part was pretty funny. The audience was surely dying with laughter. Though if you find these kind of jokes offensive, then don't get this dvd.
Monique's the funniest, nastiest and strongest comedian out of the four ladies. I thought there was a bit too much bad language though nevertheless, I was laughing pretty hard that I had tears!

Summary: HILARIOUS!!!!
Review: I've watched this video multiple times both alone and with friends. I've loaned it out to friends, all of whom LOVED it!! If you don't find humor about sex funny, or find skinny women sacred, then this just isn't the video for you. There's no reason to compare it to "The Original Kings of Comedy," too bad the titles are so similar. The humor is totally different. If you're tired of the stale "black people do this" vs. "white people do that" format that's so prominent in the "Kings," try out the "Queens" and get ready for something else instead. Oops, I jumped on the bandwagon and compared the two...but just to say THEY'RE TOTALLY DIFFERENT! Check out the Queens! There's a combination of styles that runs from dry humor to more blatant humor, and from subtle to crude. Enjoy it!

Summary: Comedy?
Review: I didn't laugh once. Sometimes I didn't even understand how these people became the queens of comedy. Rent the blue collar comedy tour if you want funny. This film starts dry and ends the same way, not funny.

Now, I could assemble 4 people and call them the queens of comedy. Anyone can. These 4 ladies didn't give me one grin. I am not kidding.

Summary: Lemme tell you something Monique!!!!

Summary: Absolutely awful...
Review: This was a put down to these ladies. It wasn't funny at all. During the whole thing I barely grinned twice. The language may have been barely bearable if anything had been funny. Trying too hard to be street level ethnic and low-class, they just made themselves and any group they are associated with look v. bad, I was embarrassed for them. I have to repeat what another viewer said - loud and perverted doesn't equal funny. This just (and I love comedy - no prude here) made you squirm with discomfort at the nastiness amd filth coming out of these ladies' mouths. Maybe I just didn't get it? The attempts at humor they made were not even relative to a wide audience -perhaps if I'd stolen the disc it would have been more up my alley? I don't think regular people would find it funny - just nasty and disgusting.

Thumbs down ladies - you were all too attractive to dumb yourselves down with this sort of thing. I hope you all dust yourselves off, learn to put yourselves above all that and move on. I am sure you can all do better - again, beautiful ladies, shockingly vulgar and perverse mouths in this one. Just ewwww, you know?

Summary: No stars. Just A Statement.
Review: I just read a review by "WILLIE A YOUNG II". He said, "How can Adele Givens attack the late Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes"? The movie was filmed before her death. Now, I'm a fan of TLC and the joke seemed funny before her death. But now, it isn't funny at all. RIP Left Eye!

Summary: Freakin HILARIOUS!
Review: Like all great things, you're either going to love it or hate it! I had no passion to see it at all, but when I friend showed it to me, it was the first time I actually cried laughing because it was SO funny! Each comedian is absolutely histerical! There is nothing like it! Sommore was one of my favs! This DVD has become an instant classic amongst my friends and I! It's one of those things we quote constantly and call each other leaving messages like "was just watching the queens of comedy and thought of you!"! This is a must have and an experience you have to go through!

Summary: Ummmm.....I'm Still Waiting To Laugh.
Review: There are truly no words to describe the abject failure of this entire project. Even if "The Kings...." hadn't been stellar (which it is) this still would not register or merit even half a star. Am I the only person who was uncomfortable hearing Adele Givens attack the late Lisa 'Left Eye'Lopes? Could Laura (stop saying "Memphis!") Hayes have been anymore ethnic and unfunny? (and please stop taking your wig off looking angry, it wasn't funny 10 years ago and it's downright pathetic today.) Sommore and Monique were just plain embarrassing; ladies take note, loud and vulgar doesn't equal funny. This is almost too painful to watch, it isn't comedy it's a 21st century minstrel show. Avoid this at all costs.

Summary: Da gr8est Stand Up comedy Eva!!!!!!!
Review: Dis movy is halarious!!!! So much bettah dan "Kings". You'll get, addicted 2 this if u luv dirty, perverted comedy. Although, Eye don't think Adele's Left Eye From TLC joke is that funny anymore since Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes (RIP) was killed in a car accident in April 2002. But Hey, what do u expect. Adele filmed this movy b4 Left Eye was killed. Da Queens talked about sex 2 much. If u like this movy, u need 2 buy da soundtrack bcuz dere r some jokes that r not in the movy such as Adele's "Entertainers On Noodles", Sommore's "Rodney", Miss Laura's "Smoking Weed" "Paranoid Roommate" And "F-#$ It 40's". Da soundtrack also features music from Kelly Price, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, Monifah f/ Murphy Lee & The ST. Lunatics, and Chante Moore.

Summary: Not Richard Pryor
Review: Yes, you can be dirty and funny. Richard Pryor proved that. But if you are just dirty (without being funny) you cheat your audience. I would love to hear a woman's perspective--but this one doesn't do it.
