Summary: A Light In The Dark...
Review: Things heat up (and lighten up) in the Dark Tournament story arc as Yusuke faces off against a fighter who can control wind (and can employ a devastating version of Popeye's patented Twister Punch on each arm!). Up until this point the Dark Tournament story has been a bit of an unwelcome departure for this otherwise fun and somewhat lighthearted series. Finally though, things ease up as Yukina makes a timely reappearance and Kuwabara, my personal favorite, who has been sitting through most of the fights after having his posterior handed to him in a doggie bag by that little yo-yo master, steps up to the plate and delivers a laugh out loud reminder as to why my wife and I started collecting Yu Yu Hakusho. Togoro shows himself to be an honorable (if EXTREMELY dangerous and evil) fellow, and Kuwabara's sister seems to be getting a love interest. This disc ends on a light note - no mid-battle cliffhanger as in the last few. One hopes Yusuke and friends will speed through the semi-finals so the series can return to the character development and more fast paced stories of the early Detective Saga. Those two DVD fight scenes are for the birds...

Summary: One of the best fights I've seen in the series
Review: Yusuke battles Jin, the Windmaster, who can fly and punch with the force of a tornado! It's up to Yusuke to figure out a way to take out this guy! To be honest, this is one of the coolest fights I've seen in the series, one of the best yet, and only the recent Toguro Team fights have rivaled it. It's awesome! In order to win, Yusuke has to use a new attack... can he do it? I'm not spoiling who wins, but in the end, it's going to be up to Kuwabara to take down the final member of Team Masho, and since he's already nearly crippled after his injuries from his previous fight, he's definitely going to have a hard time! Heck, maybe he'll have to sacrifice his life! I'm not spoiling that battle either, but the Yusuke vs. Jin is one of the best in the Ankoku Bujutskai. Enjoy!
