Summary: Get the Celestial Pictures Versions
Review: Anyone considering purchasing ANY Shaw Brothers kung fu flicks should consider buying the totally remastered versions by Celestial Pictures. They are all widescreen, uncut, digitally remastered, and look and sound better than when they were originally released, like what George Lucas did with his original Star Wars trilogy. The packaging and quality of the DVDs feel like modern DVDs with some fun extras. Just one look and you'll never look at any other distributer other than Celestial Pictures for Shaw Brothers films. The audio is in Chinese but English subtitles are available. Unfortunately, unless you have a region 3 capable DVD player, region-free DVD player, or DVD-ROM set to region 3 (ALL HAVE TO BE NTSC), you won't be able to play them. Some current available titles are Return of the Master Killer, Shaolin Master Killer, My Young Auntie, Legendary Weapons of Kung Fu, and Five Deadly Venoms. The only thing a die-hard fan would be disappointed in is that the English voice track with cheesy voice-overs are gone, but forgivable given the superior quality you get.

Summary: Watch out for cheap copies
Review: I ordered this and got a version from Beverly Wilshire Filmworks, not the version in the Amazon product listing. This is a cotinuing problem if you order used Hong Kong films. You order the film used and dont get the advertised version and instead get a cheap (maybe even illegal) copy. It is a grainy pixalated version with blurry lines across the screen. Amazon really needs to crack down on this and make them specify or ensure that you only get the advertised version.

Summary: Apalling quality
Review: I was most surprised to receive what is obviously a pirated copy of this film. The cover is a cheap print out which does not even fit properly in the box. The quality of the movie is absolutely appaling - like some cheap 80's pirate video. Do not buy this film!!!

Summary: Wrong version
Review: The only REAL version of this stunning film is the version distributed by Celestial Pictures themselves in their Shaw Brothers Collection.
Don't buy anything else than that.
