Summary: Funniest DVD Collection Ever
Review: Ab Fab is one of the funniest TV shows ever produced. This collection of the first three seasons is totally hysterical, and very much worth the somewhat high asking price. I'll give a little bit of advice before buying---wait to see an episode or two before you plunk down the [$$] that Amazon is asking for it. It is a British comedy, and as such is somewhat different from your average American sitcom. Try to catch it on Comedy Central, who shows Ab Fab every now and again. As far as DVD extras, the bonus DVD of "fabulous little things" is fun, and each DVD has about 15 minutes of outakes from each season. My only real problem with the DVDs is the asking price--somewhere just below [$$] a season in this collection. I'd shop around before buying--maybe your local [store] will be cheaper or have a sale....

Summary: Every AB FAB Fan's Dream Come True.
Review: Absolutely Fabulous has had Many Imitators, ("Cybil" being the Worst, "Sex in the City" being the Best) but it will Never be Beaten, and Neither will this DVD, which features EVERY Episode... Count em, 18... Every Single Episode. Overload, Pleasure Overload.I have seen All of these episode Countless times, and yet they Still manage to Amuse me in Different ways every time, it is So cleverly written that it Requires multiple viewing just to get every joke, I am still just getting some of them. My 3 Absolute Favourites would have to be "Poor", (Eddie's Ex Husband has cut her off and she has to learn to Cut Down on Expenditures) "Sex" (Eddie and Patsy organise an Orgy) and "Death" (Eddie's Father dies and she is having a Hard time Caring). They are so Perfectly performed and Wonderfully written, they really show you why the show has such a Following.

Summary: Jennifer Saunders sizzles as Ab-Fab's creative genius
Review: Absolutely Fabulous is comedy's exclamation point! Jennifer Saunders, as a comic screenwriter, is so head and shoulders above everybody else that (as the song goes) "it makes me feel sad for the rest". Also, do not overlook her comedic timing, subtle facial hilarities, and acting on a par with Lucy. Yes, I said Lucy! Thank the Gods that she bestows her comedic brilliance for all to see, because once you DO see Ab-Fab, you WILL develop an obsession, an almost addict-like need for MORE! MORE! MORE!
This is THE finest, A #1, all time greatest comedy you will ever see! I envy you really, YOU get to see them for the first time --- Be careful when you watch "Poor", It ROCKS from start to finish and doesn't let up. Ab-Fab's finest moment and definitely NOT recommended for amatuers!

Summary: Just Some Gorgeous Things
Review: Absolutely Fabulous, perhaps the greatest show on television, comes to DVD! The great extras (you have to see some of the out takes) only serve to suppliment the already hilariously fantastic episodes. You get to see all the unforgetable scenes from all the three seasons on only four DVD's. Eddie and Patsy will always have their place in pop culture and media history. Jennifer Saunders is a genius!

Summary: Sweetież Darling!
Review: Absolutely unique, absolutely rude and politically incorrect, and absolutely hilarious. The best situational comedy ever seen on television. The show revolves around two women: fashion extraordinaire Edina and her fabulous alcoholic friend Patsy, finding themselves taking part of constant misadventures. Constantly distracted by alcohol, drugs and lack of all responsibilities leave these two creating problems for themselves just to have something to complain about. Edina, supported by her two ex-husbands (not imply that she does not have a "job") lives to make a life for her daughter Saffron as miserable as possible and passes from one day to another trying every fat diet ever invented. All but exercise. After all that would be sensible and we can't have that. Patsy, who is also determined to make Saffron's life a living hell, carelessly surrounds herself with sex, drugs and alcohol. With Edinas fortune who needs to worry (not imply that she does not have a "job"). Most original look at a dysfunctional life. It will leave you wanting to have such a life. And why not, when only worries you'll have are shopping, drinking and more shopping. And don't forget: "You can never have enough hats, gloves and shoes."

Summary: Absolutely Worth It!
Review: After seeing this boxed set in a store, I had to have it. Each disc contains outtakes and never-before-seen footage not in the video, "How to be Absolutely Fabulous". Best of all, each DVD has great picture quality, unlike most TV-to-DVD releases (Sex and the City). True, the last shout is not on there, but since it wasn't rereleased on video in a while, that probably means there's some liscensing conflict going on. If it ever comes out on DVD, of course, I'll buy that one too.

Review: All I can say is - Wow! I never expected Ab Fab to be popular in the States. I'm a Brit who realises that our humour doesn't always translate well Stateside. I have seen most (if not all) of the episodes here on the BBC when they were originally aired. This team was definitely one of the funniest ensembles ever to make a comedy in the UK and we all loved them for it. If this sort of humour travels, there are others that will as well... keep a look out!

Review: Although the series only aired for 3 seasons, ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS was (AND IS) one of the funniest and daring series on television. The 4-disc DVD set has each season (six episodes) on a single disc, plus a 4th disc of lots of extra goodies! An excellent package, sweetie darling!

Review: As I don't own a TV, I was only lucky enough to catch a couple of episodes before I found this FABULOUS DVD set. Warning -- do not watch it if you've been starting an ab-fit routine -- even if your sides ache . . . you WILL laugh! Jennifer Saunder's scripts never cease to amaze me, and the women who play the roles are the ONLY ones equal to the challenges she puts them through! It is so rare that a sitcom is based on an all-female group of characters, but this one has it all . . . conflict, humor (yes! yes!), irony, intelligence, parody, as well as hilariously great costume and set design! The final episode alone kept me laughing for hours afterward! If you love women, love to laugh at women, or are a woman, you must see this series!! Better yet, own it!
