Summary: Emotionally charged, but odd premise
Review: Make it a 3+!

Intense dialogue--emotionally and theologically. The discussions are powerful, and should most useful for church groups, Bible studies, and other spiritually oriented audiences. These characters are passionate and earnest--so much so, that viewers will either become engrossed or wearied, depending on their openness to the premise.

One storyline idea that seems odd is that a virtual reality game piece would become the primary means of garnering the public's allegiance to a government and its leader. In a genre that is part science fiction, the means is possible. However, it seemed strange that people were making a decision of great import by choosing to participate in what seemed to be a high tech video game.

Nevertheless, the bottom line is that this is an intriguing, dramatic story well worth viewing.

Summary: If you are looking for a good movie...
Review: Oh, my, God!!! I can't tell you how long it's been since I've seen a movie as bad as this one. I feel sorry for the reviewer who paid $6 to rent it.
It doesn't take too much to entertain me; a good storyline and decent acting will do. Well, I made myself (and my poor husband) suffer through it just because I like to finish what I start, but it was a waste of time and money.
Don't get me wrong. I am a Christian AND love the whole Revelation-Apocaliptic genre, and even with that in favor of the movie I feel it was terrible all around. Bad Cast, bad acting, cheap production.
Listen to me: Pick up a book instead. It's a little more work but you will be much more satisfied. (The Christ Clone Trilogy is excellent!)

Summary: Tribulation is a great movie no matter how you look at it
Review: Other reviews stated that they weren't sure the Book of Revelation is true or not. Others say the portrayal of the great Tribulation isn't all that good, while others loved it.

The movie is an excellant movie. All that it attempts to do is take one of many possible scenarios of how Anti-Christ can rule and control people after God has taken His believers home with Him. The movie shouldn't be taken at full face value for that reason because no one knows for sure how anti-Christ will be able to rule and have power.

The route they chose I think is good, because it combines true action, suspense, and sci-fi, that any good movie lover desires. The overall message is there, that there will come a time on our planet when Tribulation will come to all and people will have to choose either faith in God, or the Mark of the beast. Rather than be "preachy" and "bible-thumping" the movie just seeks to portray very well just one possible scenario. I would strongly recommend the movie, the acting is fantastic, the production quality superb, the musical scores are very supportive, it's a great movie. Buy it, you'll see, and ignore any negative reviews.

Summary: RBM (Really Bad Movie)
Review: Poorly written, poorly directed and poorly acted.

I was hoping for something more, and this movie did not have it. Extremely low-budgeted and it shows. A person wakes from a coma, then goes on the run immediately. Don't think so.

Remember the sign of the Antichrist will not be able to be duplicated, a plain branded of 666 is too plain and I would think people would see right through it.

The first convert is extremely stupid, as a guy with his arm in his shirt is suddenly given his arm back.

Summary: Wonderful movie, must get entire collection for full effect
Review: Revelation is the best of the series to date (the jury is out until I see Judgement), but Tribulation was very good. What may throw people off is that it starts in the time that Apocalypse did, but when Gary Busey wakes up, it's after the Rapture has occured and after Thorold Stone from Revelation has been executed. Plus, the Tower of Babel prophecy will get all the Bible scholars in debate mode, not to mention the whole vitual image of the Beast motif. What we all need to keep in mind is this a movie, a fictional plot based on a Biblical prophecy which has yet to come to pass. The only way to find out what will happen after the Rapture (for those who don't know, this is an event in the Bible where Jesus Christ will come back for all those who accepted Him as their Lord and Savior, at which time they will literally vanish from this earth to live forever in Heaven with Jesus. This will occur before the Antichrist - a man possessed by Satan - will rise up as the political, financial, and spiritual ruler over the entire earth and claim that he is God.) is if you're still here when it happens. I assure you, that is something you don't want! That is the whole point of the series: to encourage people to come to Jesus Christ for salvation so that they won't have to experience the worst time period the world will ever know. I suggest getting the whole series, because, like the Star Wars trilogy, each movie feeds off the one before it. One might get confused about some holes in the plot if they don't see it in order. But all in all, Tribulation is a must-see.

Summary: Interesting concept -- terrible
Review: Simply one of the worst films ever produced since Man first shouldered a camera.

A fascinating topic rendered ridiculous by a dreadful script, dreadful directing and perfectly awful performances from a shopworn collection of actors.

Instead of intriguing me -- the non-evangelical person with a reasonably open mind -- "Tribulation" made me wonder if its really humanly possible that conservative Christians believe this simplistic hokum.

Summary: A Last Days Love Story
Review: This film has it all - drama, love, sadness. It continues the story told in "Revelation" only with some different characters. A man wakes up from a long-term coma to find the world has changed and not for the better! People have to worship a charismatic leader or die if they refuse! I was touched by the raw courage of the Christians, especially the beautiful Helen Hannah, who were willing to die for Christ rather than worship the Antichrist (played very convincingly by Nick Mancuso). The deep love between Tom Canboro and his wife, Suzie and Suzie's loyalty to her mentally ill brother are also heartwarming. The viewer gets to hear the Christian message more than in "Revelation" though not in a "preachy" way. This film is worth watching, whatever your beliefs, but should make non-believers think!

Summary: Excellent movie
Review: This is an excellent movie in the apocalypse series.

This one is Part III

The movie is a bit conusing in the first 15-25 minutes or so because they portray events which took place before even the events of thr first movie took place.

The first 5 minutes of this movie take place some 30 years before the first movie starts and the nest 15-20 minutes take place some 3 months before the first movie.

This may not be apparent the first time you view the film. It wasn't for me, but it may be for others.

This film portrays the Tribulation which takes place after the Rapture.

A man who slipped into a coma before the Rapture and wakes up several months later, some good time after the Rapture has happened. He searches for family and loved ones and learns about what happened and that it was the doing of God himself and that the Antichrist is now in control of a one world government.

They try to let more know about Jesus and save them from losing their souls to Satan.

Summary: Far exceeded expectations
Review: This movie by the makers of Left Behind far exceeded my expectations. I thought this movie was excellent. Unlike some reviewers I felt the acting was at least pretty good and for the most part very good. I was a little worried that I would not be able to follow the movie because I haven't seen Apocalypse or Revelation, but that was not the case. There were times when things got slightly confusing, mostly due to the complex nature of the film. Having some knowledge of end times prophesy is helpful but not necessary to enjoy this film. As a Christian I feel it is important for me to support Christian movies. I was not at all dissapointed by my decision to purchase this DVD. If you are a Christian you must see this movie. If you are not a Christian but would like to see a clean movie (there is some violence) without nudity or bad language then I highly recommend this movie.
