Summary: You Brought the Sunshine
Review: Clark Sisters evolutioned Gospel music with this one.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Dissapointed at the quality
Review: I was looking forward to having this album on CD because it's a favorite. However, the quality of sound is extremely poor. It sounds very muffled and unprofessional. I'm disappointed at the quality. In considering purchasing this CD, you really have to weigh out if it's worth it to you to deal with the poor sound quality in order to just listen to the wonderful Clark Sisters sing or to just forget about it, because the sound just isn't worth the money. The purchaser must decide.

Summary: Music: SO EXCELLENT, Production: WORST I EVER HEARD!!!!!!!!!
Review: The Original's could-not have had this Bad a sound Quality. I would say the Blame go's to "Sounds of Gospel Records, who OBVIOUSLY could not have cared less about their work on this re-release. TOO-BAD, the Music is a MUST-HAVE! HEY, I bought it. Just thought I'd let you know the TRUTH.(Scotty knows good music!

Review: What was this mastered from? -- And on what, a boombox?! The sound is so shrill, like an old cassette tape that squeals on the highs, while the lows and midrange is extremely muffled. Those who possess old cassettes that have oxidized know exactly the sound I'm describing. I cannot believe this record company had the audacity to release something of this inferior sound quality. I could take an old vinyl lp and produce MUCH better results than this, running it through my computer software....

And while I'm on the subject -- if the record company could not locate the original master tapes why NOT use a vinyl lp?? Or a pristine cassette. With the sophisticated technology available (cheaply, I might add) there is no excuse for this. I wasted [money] on this garbage.

ONLY ONE STAR BECAUSE IT IS THE CLARK SISTERS AND I LOVE THEM, BUT OTHERWISE NO STARS AT ALL. I was so looking forward to playing this and hearing crisp cd quality sound -- WRONG. Let me reiterate if I haven't made it very clear: ...poor sound quality. Avoid this (and the other re-release, as I am sure it cannot sound any better) at all costs until they remaster this in a manner deserving of the Clark Sisters' talent. I will be sure to contact Sound of Gospel Records about this horrendous recording -- and I will be seeking a refund.

SOG, SHAME ON YOU.
