Review: I found this movie remake to be very dull. I wish they would have at least made the animals talk. Glenn Close was good as all the other actors but this remake strayed too much from the original and too many changes were made. The dogs were the only thing fun to watch.

Review: I have recently rediscovered 101 Dalmations as my 18 month old son insists on watching it every single day. What has surprised me is that I have not even remotely grown tired of it and it grows in appeal with each watch.Never really up there when people consider the best Disney animated features - Jungle Book, Snow White etc. usually take the acclaim - I think it is one of the finest and more subtle of the Disney movies. The story is wonderful and well adapted for a wider audience. Cruella is evil personified and there are great comic moments - slapstick for the kids and cunning wordplay for the adults. Some of the animation is not of the highest quality - check out some of the snow scenes and they don't quite ring true. But overall the movie has a endearing tone and feel. One major criticism, as with nearly all Disney and Beuna Vista DVDs, is that there are no good extras. What is the point of this excellent new format if idiots in huge companies don't use it to its full potential?

Review: I just got to share this movie with my 4 year old granddaughter and just like the one before her (who is now 8) we had a great time viewing it.
Her eyes widened as she met the evil Cruella, who wanted those poor little puppies so she could have a coat. "Why would someone want to do that Grammie?" her little voice asked me.
How cute is that? This is a great movie, full of enough action for the little one, not a complicated storyline so they can easily follow along, sprinkled with chuckles here and there and ending on a very happy note. Lots of fun!

We are a report of London zoo & this is Tim Ryan reporting to you on abc news. Oh isn't that horrible! This is just make believe. The 101 Dalmatians video I loved ever!!!!!!!!! Well, the first thing is, I always think about & when I always think about is when I see Yanish rope his calf and I know Yansih got good enough to win. And when Yanish ropes his calf in the rodeo at The National Finals in Las, Vegas he uses a second loop incase he misse's his first rope and he tied his calf up. This is just pretend on abc news. Horace (Mark Williams) & Jasper (Hugh Laurie) are the bad guys who steel the puppies! I loved the video!

Summary: Totally Pointless!
Review: I remember seeing 101 Dalmatians back when it was first released in 1996, and I was sure I'd enjoyed it. What bought back the memories was seeing a review of it in a magazine, so, I decide to go and rent it from the video store. Well, second time round, 101 Dalmatians was a a total let-down and I think I must of been drunk to like it the original time I'd seen it. Glenn Close is very watchable in her fall-into-bucket-of-poo state, but the rest of the team are largely miscast in roles which have put cheesier smiles on their face than you can imagine. The dogs are pretty cool, as they are in the sequel, but this film remains entirely pointless, it's just the dogs doing exactly what the animated one's did, except they don't speakm, and Cruella been a touch more likeable than in the Disney version. Sometimes entertaining, but unnecessary and annoying. 101 Dalmatians: C-
