Summary: PLEASE JADA...
Review: Remember Set it Off? Jason's Lyrics? (Even Scream 2?) What happened?

Whatever did, please don't go there again. Next time a script like "Woo" comes along, run for the hills!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Now added to my list of all time favorites!
Review: This is one of those movies that I could watch over & over again. "Chic Night" with the girls, it is perfect - we love Woo's attitude. I laughed from beginning to end, and then some! Had to buy the video because just renting it wasn't enough!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: alright
Review: this movie had some of the same ideas of booty call, just different plot.but i think why this movie reminded me of that is cause tommy davidson was in booty call i think

Summary: 1 STAR ~~THIS IS ME BEING GENEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: UNORIGINAL, AT TIMES INCREDIBLY BORING!!! I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I EXPECTED BETTER FROM JADA PINKETT! THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THE FILM IS HER PRETTY FACE.... SUPPORTING CAST, PLOT, ETC SIMPLY DISAPPOINTING!! & THAT'S ALL I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT

Summary: Wait For It When It Airs on Television
Review: While many might know her as the wife of superstar Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith ("Set it Off"; "Bamboozled") made a modest attempt in trying to seal her career as a leading lady in Hollywood. "Woo" marks Pinkett Smith's first starring vehicle, and unlike her past roles where she was a secondary actress, she tries to do well but fails in the attempt.

Pinkett Smith and Tommy Davidson ("Booty Call"; "Bamboozled") are a great couple, but this film lacks an original script with direction. Director Daisy von Scherler Mayer ("Madeline"; "Party Girl) does a good job of keeping the movie together, but the film falls flat on jokes, and interesting characters. While the scene at the gay club where Davidson's three straight friends are flirting with ladies, unaware they are all drag queens is funny, the film lacks the unique humor that made African-American cinema one of a kind.

I must admit that the cameo by the best-selling salsa group "DLG" was the only hidden treat in this film. Jada is one of the best non-Latina salsa dancers I have seen on screen since Vanessa Williams blew me away her moves in "Dance With Me." Besides this small musical number, "Woo" will make probably make a great movie when it airs on TBS, Comedy Central, or on syndication on heavy rotation.
