Summary: Great Value, Very Good Sound
Review: I have a Harmon Kardon AVR125 Receiver with Sony EQ and JVC DVD player matched with a pair of old ADS Tower Digital Speakers. I live in a relatively small apartment with fairly good acoustics. Recently, I have been looking for some satellite speakers as well as a decent center channel to finish the theatre concept. One of my basic factors was digital (preferably DTS) compatibility. My floor speakers are tremendous so I needed something that would compliment with out breaking the bank.

THESE SPEAKERS DO THE TRICK! Complete with four wall brackets and speaker wire, this is a complete program. The sound is crisp and full, producing Theater quality sound that is especially impressive for viewing DTS movies, sports from cable TV, and even PS2 games. Musically, I tweak the system a bit differently, but once set, the 'live' performances are a trip!

The subwoofer is the weakest link with this system, however, I feel an investment in better cables (Monster) would correct this, besides my floor speakers provide more than enough bass for both me and my neighbors needs. Therefore the subwoofer is of little concern to me.

I looked at the Bose satellite system and came away disappointed and discouraged by the price. Hence, to find these speakers with this high quality for this price $80 + $33 Shipping. This is a good system at twice the price, no kidding. These are perfect apartment speakers and are an especially great upgrade for a home theater system.

BTW, I used the extra speakers to hook up my bedroom! Chicks dig the ambience. 'Nuf said.

Summary: Better than sony?
Review: I LOVE music, dvd's, and everything. I had some old speakers, and I needed new ones. I didn't have a whole lot of money, so I looked at some cheaper stuff. I found KLH showing up a lot, I never heard of them untill now. I decided to give them a whirl. I got the speakers, hooked them up, and BOOM was blown away!! The sound was INCREDIBLE!!!! I compared them to a friends very nice sony system, and I think it was better, He paid 3 times what I did, He hated to admitt it, but he aggreed that mine were better. Some people dont think it has a good subwoofer, it was decent, but I added a sub- monster cable, and it can shake my house if I want it to, it is INCREDILBE, it is just a GREAT buy, if you are considering speakers, but dont wanna pay $$$, get these, they ROCK!

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I needed a sub- monster cable for it to sound great, cost 20 bucks, but man was it worth it!!!

Summary: Good speakers, Great price
Review: I recently purchased these speakers because my old ones died. I was looking for a good home theater system at a low price. These exceeded my expectations.

I have noticed a few people complaining about the sub. When I first hooked mine up with the pre-amp output on my receiver via the provided coaxial cable it had almost no sound. I then used a better cable, but got the same results. So I hooked it up through the front speaker outputs and then out came the bass. I don't know if this is because of my receiver or because of the sub. All I know is it fixed the problem. So you may want to try both installation techniques to see what works best with your system.

The speakers sound very good. The sub puts out substantial bass. A 6 speaker system at a very good price makes it difficult to beat.

Summary: Good speakers, Great price
Review: The sound is very nice and I have to keep the subwoofer turned down in order to avoid having it overpower things. I'm not sure why some others are having trouble getting good bass. I purchased the pricy Monster brand subwoofer cable and thicker wires for the satellites too. My advise is to try a better cable and make sure your reciever is set up properly (so that the satellites are on SMALL and the subwoofer is on LARGE, etc).

I'll replace these some day, but for now they are doing great.

Summary: Great Sound but needs bass boost
Review: This sounds great with my 100 X 5 receiver. The bass is ok when the subwoofer volume is turned up all the way. But if you want really good bass, consider a 100 watt a minimum for the subwoofer.

Summary: Again, sounds great but needs bass
Review: When you look at the price, a 6-channel 100 watt home theatre speaker system for [a fair amount of money] may sound like an excellent idea. Just make sure you know what your buying. Anyway, I bought these speakers as a temporary setup until I can afford some heavy-duty Cerwin Vegas. Overall, the audio output is great and the surround sound is excellent, but the subwoofer is just about dead. I thought it might of had to do with the CD format not being enhanced enough until I stumbled upon other people complaining about the same problem. When it comes to the bass, the speakers on my little RCA five-disc stereo blow these out of the water. However, I still think its worth the money and its a great system despite the fact it lacks in the low-treble area.
