Summary: It Was Ok though It Could Have Been A Little Better!
Review: I was in a store the other day shopping for Chrstmas presents when I saw a bargain bin with DVDs in it priced at 5 dollars so I looked in the bin and most of what I saw looked like junk and the only DVD that really got my interest was this animated version of A Christmas Carol which was part of a two pack that included an animated version of The Nutcracker. I remembered watching an animated version of A Christmas Carol on one of those pay movie channels on cable so I bought the DVD and no it wasn't the one I had watched on that movie channel but a different animated version and this version was ok, well some of the scenes were ok but others were kind of weak but the spirit of The Charles Dickens story did make it watchable even though it was too short and the scene with Scrooge and Belle was too short and abrubt but I'm not sorry I bought this DVD for I did think it was worth watching and I'm sure I could probably watch it again but I do have to say that the picture quality is not the best. This was put out on DVD by Goodtimes a company known for poor picture on DVD and videos and sometimes the picture seems to flicker and dim almost like someone was flashing a faint light on and off and it was kind of annoying but I guess it wasn't too bad and could be worse and I actually payed less then 5 dollars for the DVD two pack.
