Summary: My nephew loves it!
Review: I bought the Twenty Trucks DVD as a present for my nephew's 2nd birthday and he loves it!  I thought it was about one of the cutest things I've ever seen when he stood and waved "goodbye" to one of the trucks as it honked its horn. The "Can you name Twenty Trucks" song that begins and ends the video is very catchy. I've caught myself humming the tune more than once. Some of the video clips are better than others. The DVD cover says that it is designed for kids ages 1-8. I would guess that it is better suited for younger kids, maybe 2-5, since the video and narration are fairly basic and might not appeal to older children. All in all I would definitely recommend this video for any young child who likes trucks.

Summary: 20 Trucks Is Awesome (according to my 2 year old)
Review: I have two sons (2 years old and 4 years old) that love this DVD. These boys are fascinated by each truck segment in the DVD and ask to watch it over and over. It's fun to see them calling out the name of each truck; they are especially fond of the monster truck segment.

I heard this company was also coming out with 20 More Trucks and 20 Trains. I'm sure my kids will love those too. I highly recommend this to parents with curious kids.

Summary: Average at Best
Review: It was a very poor quality video. It looked like something I would have put together in grade school. Overall, it was OK and slightly entertaining.

Summary: Can you name twenty trucks?
Review: My 2-year-old niece and nephew can. I can't believe how enthralled they are by this DVD. They can name every single truck shown on the video. They even point to them on the road and say "Vacuum truck!" or "Cement mixer!" They especially love the monster truck segment. Just be prepared that kids will want to carry their Hot Wheels around with them everywhere they go after seeing this DVD.

Summary: Trucks Trucks Trucks
Review: This DVD is both entertaining AND instructional for young kids (about 2-6 yrs. old). Though the video quality varies quite a bit from segment to segment, the DVD shows kids real trucks in real action and does NOT divert kids' attention from the trucks wth elaborate story lines or extraneous characters.

The videos, songs, and narrations in the DVD focus on the twnety trucks, helping kids learn and satisfying their curiosity. This is a great DVD for kids, especially for kids enthralled by trucks.

Summary: A hit with my 3 year old!
Review: This is a fun video for young kids who like trucks. My three year old loves to shout along with the kids' voices numbering and naming the twenty trucks. My older boys (9 and 11) thought the footage of the trucks was "cool". But they found the narration a little boring. I would recommend this video for younger kids, maybe from 2-5. For older kids, maybe try the Real Wheels series.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Better than some, far from ideal
Review: Well, it does have 20 trucks, and gets right to the point. There's no extraneous shots of non-truck things while your toddler is anxiously awaiting the good parts. Each truck gets a few minutes of solo coverage at a time.

On the down side, the narration is comically bland. The video quality ranges from OK to very poor. It's all trucks - no excavators or front-loaders. The scene selection menu is a case study in misguided UI.
