Summary: 8 Minute Workouts Review
Review: Terrific! These are virtually perfect. Who doesn't have just 8 minutes? If I don't have time to workout I can at least find 8 minutes to do one of these workouts.

Each of the two DVDs includes bonus workouts that range from 10 - 20 minutes long. So if you don't have time to do a full workout, you can do a 10 minute sample and one of the 8 minute workouts. This is a great addition to the DVDs.

I highly recommend these. The 8 minute buns and abs really take some time to build up to their level, but since the exercises are not timed to the background music you can work at your own speed! And they have minute and second countdowns in the lower corner of the screen so you can take a 5 or 10 second break until the next set of exercises starts! These are AWESOME.

Summary: Don't waste your money....
Review: They spent about 8 minutes and 8 bucks putting together this cheesy video. Production is not as good as some school video projects. There are two very bored people in the back who look like they don't want to be there. The 'person' in the front is a pretty boy in shorts made of tights material. ...

I gave it a whooping 2 stars... If you could tolerate watching it you will get a good workout.

Summary: Amazing!
Review: This dvd is truly one of the most amazing buys ever. It not only offers a low price for so many different kinds of workouts, but it also works -- which is the best reason of all to get it. Just like the dvd "New Sex Now", if you do exactly what they tell you to do on this dvd, you will get the results. I have seen the various parts of my body develop and improve since I started using this workout system, and I have enjoyed the blossoming of my lovelife and intimacy with my husband since using "New Sex Now." Go for it!

Summary: 8 minutes in the making.....
Review: This is a great little "no frills" workout for your arms, abs, etc. It is exactly what I wanted. No mess, no fuss. I like "pure and simple." Just plain old "let's get to work for 8 minutes." It's perfect and easy to follow. It goes by very fast and I feel rejuvenated just after that amount of time. There are plenty of minutes in the day to do a couple of these workouts and to start getting my muscles back into shape... An excellent idea !! Thanks !! I love it !!

Summary: A GREAT FULL BODY WORKOUT & STRETCH
Review: This is a great work out tape. Each workout is only 8 effective minutes long. I especially love the ab workout and the bonus 8 min stretch. The ab workout target each muscle in your abs (both lower and upper) and the stretch workout starts from your neck to your ankles. Each stretch is 20 seconds long and you feel great afterwards. The arm and leg workout are also very effective workouts. All in all great workout.

Summary: terrible old styles, poor production, NOT WORTH IT
Review: this is such a joke, the video is poorly produced and the set is so 80'ish that I was joking and then crying I wasted my money on it. The wardrobes are pitiful, and the instruction is not very good. It is set up for beginners, but fit people won't get much out of it. This video is sooooooooo over-rated, don't wast your time or money.

Summary: YOUR PERSONAL INSTRUCTOR
Review: This Video is really good. It has 4 sections of 8 minutes for your abs, legs, buns, and arms, it also has aerobics, kickboxing and more. I really enjoy the clock on the screen and the instructor is really good. It also has different levels for beginners, intermedias, and experts. I love it !!!

Summary: Excellent for beginners and spazzes
Review: When I first started these workouts, I was in awful shape, I mean winded at the top of the stairs, and I'm not even overweight. These workouts definitely got me moving along, and I even noticed a difference within a couple of weeks, especially the arm and leg workouts. Once I'd been doing them for a while, I wanted something more challenging and more cardio, but I still use them for something low-key. The abs and buns you can really, really feel the burn on. Not exactly sweat-inducing, though.

The bonus workouts: The 20-minute kickboxing workout was a very cool bonus and great for cardio, though it took me a couple of times to get the hang of it. The others seem to just give a 5-minute sampling or require equipment, but the 8-minute stretch is a great warm up/cool down.

Summary: I think I like it...
Review: When I looked at the title, I thought - what the hey - only 8 minutes. I can do that.

I rec'd it from AMZN a couple days ago and brought it home, popped it in the DVD player and away I went. So far so good.

The workouts are fairly precise, SHORT and short. Short is good for those of us who don't care to work out except for a nice walk outdoors.

The lead guy is tolerable - he's built which makes me have the illusion that if I do these workouts 8 min. each day I'll become buff :) His outfit often takes attention away from the video though....it's white w/ black stripes and suspenders - straight out of the 80's. The music? Blechhhh. Corny corny corny. BUT - you're not getting this for the music - you're getting this because it's ONLY 8 minutes a day, which if I can handle it? Anyone can :)

The "legs" workout is alright - I've only done it once so far. The "buns" workout rocks. Really felt the results, especially the next day. The "arms" workout is just OK without weights, but adding even 2 or 5 pounds to each arm really makes a big difference.

One of the best things about this is that it's short but it also has a constant countdown in the corner of the screen. It keeps track of how many seconds you have for the current exercise and how many minutes total you have left for your workout. I really like that.

I plan on alternating "buns" and "legs" every other morning and doing "arms" each day regardless.

All in all I would recommend this DVD set. I also ordered the Winsor pilates DVD and will enjoy seeing the difference in presentation and results. BUY this - certainly doing 8 minutes a day is much better than doing nothing at all. If not for your physique, for your self esteem :)
