Summary: Simply hilarious! A road trip you won't forget!
Review: "A Goofy Movie" is one of my absolute favorite videos. I've been marveling over this movie for years. Everytime I watch this film, I can't stop myself from laughing. The funny scenes never get old. The story is about a young boy named Max, who is Goofy's only son. Max throws a somewhat sort of concert at his school meeting and steams up the principal. The prinipal calls up Goofy and completely exagerates Max's skit. So then Goofy decides to take his unwilling son, who just finally got a date with the girl of his dreams, on a fishing trip crosscountry. To make a long story short, everything that could poosibly go wrong does, and Max isn't quite getting along with his dad. Goofy and Max eventually fall off of a huge waterfall before they finally realize that they really love each other. But I'm not going to spoil the ending for you. You'll just have to watch and find out, and I guarantee you that you won't regret it!

Summary: A Great Disney Movie!!!
Review: "A Goofy Movie" is one of my very favorite Disney movies, if not my very favorite. I watched it for the first time on video when I was a 4th grader, and loved it. Then I forgot about it for awhile, until I found it on the shelf at the Library last year (I'm now 15) and loved it just as much (or more!) as the first time I viewed it!! I can not get enough of it! My older brother, who will be going to a prestegious University in the Fall also loves it as well. Do not listen to the so-called "professionals" when they say it is a "lesser disney movie" and only for the young - because my older brother, my mom and I like it more than even my 6 year old brother!!

Max (voiced by Jason Marsden) is an uncool teenager who despertly wants the attention of his crush, Roxanne, but seems to mess us when he tries to talk to her. So, on the last day of school with the help of his 2 buddies, he pulls a ABSOLUTLY hillarious and awesome stunt to impress her in front of the whole school -(this is one of my favorite scenes!!)-, but he gets caught by the Principle who exagerates what Max did to Max's dad. Even though he thinks he messed it up by getting caught, he goes from a nobody, to popular because he made the last day of school assembly awesome. Roxanne comes up to him, and they make plans for a upcoming party. He feels ontop of the world but comes home to devasting news - his dad (Goofy voiced by Bill Farmer) who is well-meaning but very goofy feels that taking Max on a LONG road trip to a lake with him will shape him up by having them bond more.

Max, extremely upset, has to change his plans with Roxanne. But he lies to her telling her he will appear at the Powerline Concert dancing on stage and will wave to her while she watches it at the party. (Powerline is like what Justin Timberlake is today) Max and Goofy set off on the trip with hillarious adventours and mishaps along the way. The end is spitacluar, (something any teen would want to do) hillarious, absoutly GREAT! (I consider the ending scene also one of the best parts!!)

Everything in the movie fits very well together, guarenteed to make you laugh ATLEAST once ~ many more for me that is for sure! The songs are very catchy and one of the best assests to the movie! I tried to get the orginial soundtrack but I can't find it anywhere. The sequel is funny, but is NOTHING compared to the first. I rank "A Goofy Movie" right up there with Disney's Robin Hood and all the other classics! A must see for EVERYONE kids, teens and adults!!

Summary: A unique blend of teenage drama and Goofy-ness
Review: "I'd like to say like "yea" to Disney for creating this totally hilarious movie." A blend of teenage drama and Goofy-ness, this movie has wonderful characters as well as a spectacular soundtrack. The quality of the animation is surprising for a film that got hardly any publicity while out in theatres.

Summary: The Best Movie Ever
Review: A goofie Movie is an excellent collaboration of fantastic original music and hilarious quotable lines. It is one of the funniest disney, or any movie, of all times. And it is entirely appropriate for all ages. Everyone, everywhere will most certainly enjoy this. And, you will surely be singing along to all the great 'Powerline' hits.

Summary: Wonderful movie with a lesson!
Review: A Goofy Movie is a wonderful children's movie that focuses on a father-son relationship that seems to get lost in the generation gap. It also sports a lesson to be learned in pretending to be what you are not as well as lessons on lying and on trust. Amidst these mainstreams, it is non-stop, fun filled, Goofy song and dance with just the right amount of humor. A great video in the Disney tradition for all ages!

Summary: I love this movie!
Review: A Goofy Movie is cool! The songs are only beat by the songs in "The Lion King".

In case you're wondering, here's what the movie is all about:
Max is Goofy's 15-year-old son. He's not exactly the biggest man on campus.
On the last day of school, Max decides this calls for desperate measures. He performs a concert at the morning assembly as teenage rock sensation, Powerline.
Everything works out fine...until the principal finds out.
The principal calls Goofy at work and tells him Max is headed for the electric chair.
A horrified Goofy takes Max on a road trip. Poor Max has just gotten the date of a lifetime.
Max tells his girlfriend that Goofy is taking him to Powerline's concert in L.A. (which he's not).

Don't miss this movie! It's one of the lesser-known classics.
I give it two thumbs up.

Summary: Disney at its finest. A superb movie.
Review: A Goofy Movie ranks upon my top 5 favorites. It gives an accurate representation of adolescent life in an uplifting, comedic, and often heartwarming fashion. The animation is good, the songs are great, the screenplay is superb, the voices fit each character perfectly (Especially Max's. Good job Mr. Marsden!) and many nice cinematic effects are included. This "kids" movie is a real treat to the older, and, at times is symbolic of deeper messages. A real winner that should be in the hands of any Goofy, Disney, or movie fan, for that matter!

Summary: Strong story ends with a weak ending
Review: A Goofy Movie started out with a huge comical bang and strong storyline concerning father and son. The entire cast of toons and the music made it great fun. But just as Goofy snaps at his son on the edge of a road the writers feel the need to let Goofy's car roll off into the river. Thus killing the emotional compact that could have built up here. A Goofy movie fares as an average film due to this. And did we need to see Goofy and Max singing on top of a car floating in the river? This was the only lame musical number in the movie. A Goofy Movie had the potential to be a great film but sadly they tripped at the finish line.
