The Return of Sherlock Holmes, Vol. 2 - The Second Stain & The Six Napoleons

Summary: Good, but not as good as The Blue Carbuncle
Review: The Second Stain is a great straightforward mystery, as is The Six Napoleans, in which we get to see Marina Sirtis before her Star Trek days. But these episodes are not better than many of the others, and in my book not as good as my favorite of all, The Blue Carbuncle. Just the same you will find no Sherlock Holmes better than the late lamented Jeremy Brett. If you don't have this DVD and you like Holmes stories, then buy it. It's that simple. My only warning is to stay away from most of the 2-hour episodes (one of them is alright, but I've forgotten its name). But The Eligible Bachelor and The Last Vampire (or The Sussex Vampire), are terrible, and The Hound of the Baskervilles, sadly, is almost as bad. Stick with the one-hour episodes, though, and you can't go wrong.
