Summary: It Someone Hiding Something From You....?
Review: Two Can Play At That Game is a very interesting movie. Whoever says this movie isn't funny hasn't been in a relationship before. Point Blank. Through each characters strategic tactics I see myself. I say holdup hold up ...I ve done that before. Anthony Anderson basically makes this movie though. This man is too funny. He emphasizes the important words in the sentence to get his point across and his voice makes it hilarious. This is his best acting performance. Vivica Fox gives women a few unnecessary pointers ( from a man's perspective at least ) but she does keep it real. Morris Chestnut does excellent as well. The movie is fast paced as Vivica Fox and Anderson each play their cards at the situation they are given. They play it like a chess game and the 'rules' are funny at times. The girlfriends (Tamala Jones, Wendy Racquel Robinson and MoNique )really act like real friends and they have good chemistry together. The movie wasn't too long and didn't bore me to death as most love stories do.

When I first saw it I couldn't really understand why Morris Chestnut was moping around. 'I'm not gonna call, I already called twice, can't be desperate" lol. I was like man if you don't quit b!tchin...But then I remembered that Vivica Fox is finer than a mutha. I'm surprised he didn't cry. Shante takes him through a grueling three day process where she hardly even speaks to him and breaks up with him. The only useless day was day six. There was no purpose for it. The funniest part is at the end when she expects him to be at her house waiting on her with flowers. I could have told her beyotch please that aint gonna happen. And then when he didn't show it was just hilarious. I was like "ahhh that shhh didn't work" and then five seconds later she's like "I know what ya thinking...the shhh didn't work" By then I was on the flo rolling. It was so funny.

The good thing about this movie is that actors really seemed like they enjoyed playing the roles. The movie is fast, fun, lighthearted, and entertaining. A nice classic chill out movie. The narrating didn't bother me at all. I recommend seeing this film

Review: i guess ill give it 3 stars. the preview for this movie looked really good! but the movie did not match i dont think it was horrible, but it was not the hilarious wonderful movie i was expecting. i think those kind of misleading previews can really kill a movie. it was ok, but ill probably never watch it again even though morris chestnut is in it. some of it was funny but not really funny and alot of it just wasnt funny. maybe if i didnt expect so much from it i would have liked it more.

Summary: Two Can Play That Game
Review: This is perhaps the best romantic comedy I've ever seen. Vivica's character catches her man out on the dance floor when he said he'd be working late. He explains but she's determined to keep him in line by punishing him. It's hilariously funny and very romantic. A must see!

Summary: Shante KNOWS how to keep it reeeal!
Review: Though there are no such thing as perfect movies, this one is as FUNNY and as ORGANIZED as they get. I have watched it like 20 times, and still enjoy it from beginning to end.

Summary: boring
Review: This movie is so predictable and boring. I seen this movie so many times before, couldn't they have gotten an original plot! And then the picture quality was bad. It felt like I was watching an 80's movie.

Summary: Ever have a significant other play with your emotions?
Review: Have you ever screwed up unintentionally in a relationship? Why won't they answer the phone when you want to apologise? Are you still hung up on someone who acts like they don't care for you any more? Could it all be just a mind game? Watch as two masters of the mind menagerie duke it out in this twisted head game called a relationship.

Summary: Girl, you play more games than the NBA!
Review: This is a highly amusing movie about the things women have to do to make their men behave. What makes it all so funny is the grain of truth in all that Shante (Vivica A. Fox) tells her audience via speaking directly into the camera a la Zack Morris of "Saved By The Bell".

Shante is 28, gorgeous, highly successful and always counseling and helping her 3 best girl friends Tracey, Karen and Deirdre (played with hilarity and aplomb by the divine Mo'Nique of UPN's The Parkers.) All three are in the throes of a messy relationship to which Shante tells them to kick their broke man to the curb. Until something similar happens to Shante and her man Keith. Now the shoes is on the other foot and Shante starts her 10-day plan to make her man behave.

It is funny, especially when Shante goes to church and participates in a too-close "church hug" with a man there in front of Keith's friend (Men love to gossip as much as women, says Shante, and she's right.)

As the days progress and Shante continues to be right, you wonder when she won't be. The law of averages says that time is coming, and you wonder if that will be before or after she reconciles with the wayward Keith (who is playing his own games, as the film reveals.)

It is hilarious and too true. Watch this for a good laugh.

Summary: Just Fabulous!! x]
Review: I LOVED this movie! The characters played it well, they did GREAT! It is always fun when movies about the battles of the sexes come on [not to be sexist or anything] but you DO have to agree with me that it is FUNNY and HILARIOUS as hell!! :] You DEFINITELY should watch it!!

Summary: Too much talking to the audience for me.
Review: And what was up with those rules? Anyone operating like that is bound to get dissed. The ten rules was a bit much for me. This movie was no different from the laundry list of black predictable films. We want to be taken seriously in Hollywood, but movies like this are the best we can do?

I dare any black director, producer, or writer, to take this movie, the likes of Brown Sugar, Baby Boy, Kingdom Come (what the Heezy?), Deliver Us From Eva, and ALL of the movies that follow this pattern to the Academy.
