Summary: WWE Unforgiven 2002- Presented by Raw & Smackdown
Review: (Matches are in order they occured and winners are listed.)

Match 1: Booker T, Goldust, Bubba Ray Dudley, & Kane defeated The Un- Americanz
It was a good match but a little sloppy at points. It would of been better if it was an elimanation or some other type of match. Kane wins with the chokeslam on Lance Storm. (7.5/10 Stars.)

Match 2: Intercontinental Championship
Chris Jericho defeated Ric Flair to retain his title.
O.K. match. I didn't think Flair would win...and he didn't. I don't even like Flair at all so I'm glad he lost. (5/10 Stars.)

Match 3: Eddie Guerrero defeated Edge
Another good match between these two competitors. I liked this match alot. Not sloopy at all and a good ending. (9/10 Stars.)

Match 4: Jamal & Rosey defeated Billy & Chuck
A stupid "fill-in" match will two teams that i hate. Absolutely terrible. (1.5 Stars.)

Match 5: World Heavyweight Championship
Triple H defeated Rob Van Dam
Van Dam is a great wrestler but of course HHH retains his title...The match was good though...even though HHH won. (9/10 Stars.)

Match 6: Women's Championship
Molly Holly defeated Trish Stratus to win the title.
ZZZZ......After the World Title Match because....???? Bad Match with my least favorite women's wrestler winning...(3.5/10 Stars.)

Match 7: Chris Benoit defeated Kurt Angle
A fantastic match between the two. Great submission moves. Tons of action....great match! (10/10 Stars.)

Match 8: WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar the WWE Champ and Undertaker fought to a draw.
A DRAW?!? BAD ENDING!!! I can't believe they ended a WWE Title Match a a PPV in a draw!! Stupid!! (4.5/10 Stars.)

Overall this PPV was okay...i give a 80/100 Star Rating.
YOU SHOULD TRY ARMAGEDDON 2002 OR SUMMERSLAM 2002..2 great PPV's!!

Summary: How Do They Keep Doing This?
Review: 2002 Unforgiven
September 22, 2002
Staples Center
Los Angeles, California

Kane, Bubba Ray Dudley, Goldust, & Booker T. V. The Un-Americans
Good opener with alot of action. The Crowd was very into it. The Un-Americans lose. ***

Intercontinental Championship:
Chris Jericho (Champion) V. Ric Flair
Good match but short with Jericho retaining. **1/2

Edge V. Eddie Guerrero
Awesome match. This better was alot better than their Summerslam match. Guerrero wins. ****

Jamal & Rosey V. Billy & Chuck
A good match actually, but again, it was short. Jamal & Rosey win. **1/4

World Heavyweight Championship:
Triple H (Champion) V. Rob Van Dam
Finally, this is where RVD should be, wrestling for the Heavyweight Championship of the World. Great match with Triple H retaining with the help for Ric Flair? The born of Evolution. ****

Women's Championship:
Molly Holly (Champion) V. Trish
Molly retains. *

Kurt Angle V. Chris Benoit
How can they keep putting on awesome matches. This one is great. This is the show stealer and the scary part is that they with have the best match ever at the Royal Rumble a couple of months later. Benoit wins. ****3/4

WWE Championship:
Brock Lesner (Champion) V. The Undertaker
Great match. I like it better than the Triple H/RVD match. This ends in a double DQ with will lead to their Hell In A Cell Match at No Mercy! ****1/2

Overall a awesome show. One of the Best in 2002. Every match is good and Benoit & Angle steal the show again. a easy ***** Pay-Per-View.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Chris Benoit v. Kurt Angle
Review: Both Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle can be considered two of the best pure wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots. Watch as these two former World Champions face off at Unforgiven 2002.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Angle V Benoit = classic
Review: Buy it for that match after you by the Chris Benoit DVD(that has them at Rumble(2003)and Cage on Raw(2001).
Angle V Benoit is so good, I watched it something like 10 times(it's that good)on the first day I bought this DVD. This is not like any TLC or hardcore match were big bumps take place because it has mat wrestling and german suplexes and so on, I'de watch this match any day over the trianguler ladder match that was rated "2nd best" match of Wrestle Mania history. There's a good match between Rey and Chavo(at least 2.5 stars/5) on Sunday night heat on the extras then Eddie V Edge(solid).
RVD V HHH is a good fight. RVD carried the match along mostly by him self.
Summerslam 2002 is an event that all the matches are watcheble and Unforgiven has 4 watchable matches. If your choosing between the two and you haven't bought them yet and your a big fan of Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit buy this. Kurt Angle V Chris Benoit unforgiven is better than Kurt V Rey(Sum Slam 02)and alot better than Chris Benoit V RVD.
edit: the Trish V Molly Holly is a good match if you give it a chance. They put in some effort, it's alot better than...
The Smackdown main event for WWE title, Brock V Taker, this match is mostly a brawl with punches, one of them matches that drags on what seems like hours. Brock/Rock Summerslam is alot better(3.5 - 4 star match).

Review: edge vs eddie guerrero
last year i wasn't really big fan of either of them until i saw this match and their no dq match on the following smackdown and their gained my respect BIG TIME and is just getting better and better in the ring with each other they both have different styles though but you combine thoughs to different styles you will get a hell of a much even though their must at smackdown is better than this they still put on a great and exciting performance at uniforgiven.****

angle vs benoit
these two always put on a match of the year candidates and this matches was one of their best matches toghter but when i saw their royal rumble i think it surpass it but in a way it didnt they did some awesome mat wrestling reversals alot close pinfalls and little high risk move their matches always tell a story even though it is not their best match one of the best matches of 2002 or probably even the best of 2002 if it wasnt for that tag team title match a month later this would of been match of the year and their match at royal rumble is just a little bit better than this about l/4 better that all no big deal.****1/2

Summary: Lots of crack in the face
Review: I have to say that this was a great PPV, especially at the end where Eric Bischoff got the longest stinkface ever by Rikishi. Every match was pretty good in my opinion, except for the woman's championship match. Besides, there was no hype being built up for that match, all they did was make the match, and let Trish win. It sucked basically. Other than that, I LOVED the Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit match. A lot of different strategies and techniques used by each wrestler, and it was very entertaining every second you watched it. The WWE championship match was good, though it could've been a LOT better. I mean, come on. Matt Hardy interfeiring? That was dumb. And the referee had to stop the match because there was too much fighting going on? The referee should've been fired that night since it was so entertaining watching Undertaker and Brock Lesnar beat the hell outta each other. I have to say that when Taker threw Lesnar through the Unforgiven sign, THAT was awesome. Overall, nearly every match was good, and some matches had shockers, but overall, GREAT PPV!

Summary: Draw!!! DRAW!!!!! DDRRAAWW!!!!
Review: Kane, Booker T, Goldust & Bubba Ray Dudley v. Christian, Lance Storm, William Regal & Test
This was a very bad match with a very bad ending. It could have at least been elimination but NOOOOOOO!!!! Kane's team win when Kane pins Storm after a chokeslam.**

Chris Jericho v. Ric Flair IC Title
This was a awesome match, so what if it was a SummerSlam rematch it was awesome. Jericho retains in a great match.*****

Eddie Guerrero v. Edge
This match was not as special as people say it is. Eddie wins in another SummerSlam rematch.**

Rosey & Jamal v. Billy & Chuck
This match was pure gold. Billy & Chuck are great competitors. Rosey & Jamal unfortunatly win this great match.*****

Triple H v. Rob Van Dam World Title
This match was very good considering it was the first ever world title match. HHH aligns himself with Flair in this match and he retains.****

Trish Stratus v. Molly Holly Women's Title
This match was barely any good at all but it could be useful at points if you like Women's wrestling. Molly wins her new title.**

Chris Benoit v. Kurt Angle
This was another classic in the Benoit/Angle series. Benoit wins in another great match.*****

Brock Lesnar v. Undertaker WWE Title
This match was very near perfect. Brock and Taker had a Draw but that's okay because the rest of the action was awesome. Brock retains.****1/2

Summary: Angle/Benoit is the reason to watch this!
Review: Kane, Booker T, Goldust, Bubba Ray Dudley vs. The UnAmericans (Test, Christian, Lance Storm, William Regal) - I didn't care much for this opening matches. Tag matches with 8 men are seldom good as there is too much confusion and not enough time for wrestling. This ended pretty much how one might expect with everyone hitting their finishers. The match was one big mess.

Intercontinental Title: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Ric Flair - This was a much shorter match than I would have liked considering how good these two workers are. Jericho is the perfect "heel", and the ending to this match was classic.

Edge vs. Eddie Guerrero - Good match. These two can really go, and this pairing makes for a very interesting match. This would have been match of the night, if not for Angle/Benoit

Interpromotional Match: Billy & Chuck vs. Jamal & Rosey - I thought this match was junk. I've never cared for Jamal and Rosey or Billy and Chuck. The two big men are not very impressive in the ring. The gimmick for this match is that is the RAW team wins (Rosey and Jamal), Stephanie McMahon has to engage in some H.L.A. (Hot Lesbian Action). If the Smackdown team wins (Billy and Chuck), Eric Bischoff has to kiss the butt of Stephanie. The gimmick is the only reason this match wasn't completely pointless and uninteresting.

World Title Match: Triple H (c) vs. Rob Van Dam - After Bischoff created the World Championship for RAW, he gave the belt to Triple H. This is the first title defense of that gift of a belt. It isn't until the end of the match that RVD gets any offense in, and by that point we don't really believe he can win. Maybe it is just the pairing of the two wrestlers, but this wasn't that good of a match.

Women's Title: Molly Holly(c) vs. Trish Stratus - In a rematch from King of the Ring, this one falls short. The KOTR match was much better. This was what you would expect from a women's match. The women's division has improved significantly, but you wouldn't be able to tell from this match.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit - There is no question about it....this was the best match of the PPV! I watch quite a bit of wrestling, and this is the best match I have seen in a long time. This match featured quite a bit of chain wrestling with reversals, near falls and lots of action. Benoit and Angle put on a wrestling clinic. This match should go down as a classic, and had this been at a bigger PPV, it would be remembered for a long time.

WWE Title: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Undertaker - How do you follow the Angle/Benoit classic? With a brawl. Despite Lesnar's amateur background, this was little more than a streetfight in the ring. Some power moves, but mostly punching and kicking. Not bad for what it was, but this is a forgettable match. The ending was a major disappointment and a horrible way to end a PPV. Had I been in the arena, I would have been booing just like the rest of the crowd.

This was a slightly better than average PPV, but it is elevated by the greatness that was the Kurt Angle/Chris Benoit match. It more than makes up for the main event, and redeems the entire program.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: WUT WUZ DIS!
