Review: I've used powered subwoofers in my audio systems for 10 years. Some good, some not so good. The P500 is GREAT. The crossover allows precison adjustment to complement both my speakers and the room. ( I only have a stereo system so I use the P500 for music rather than to watch movies.)The speakers I currently use are much more efficient than most and until I discovered the P500 I was having problems matching them to a subwoofer.

Review: Most subwoofers I've heard just thud along. The Cambridge P500 is really musical, with a clarity I normally don't hear from a woofer. It's small. It looks very cool. And I love the remote control. I don't have to crawl around on all fours to change the bass level. I prefer it to several [more expensive] subwoofers I listened to.
