Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very clear, yet detailed instructions
Review: The before and after shots in this book are spectacular. For example, Krist shows you a picture in an ordinary lab room with flourescent lights and no special lighting. Then he shows you how to make it a magazine-quality photo with light fillers, gels, etc. Exceptional book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Not very helpfull
Review: This book would prove to be of utmost benefit to those who use a Nikon camera and an SB series flash. You would also benefit from the book if you are taking pictures for large corporations, which the author says has not been done since the 1980s. The book is a little too limited in scope to prove to be of great value. SOME of the diagrams are helpful.

Summary: For Nikon Users!
Review: This is a great book if you already have some knowledge of photography and own Nikon equipments. I already owned Nikon gear when I bought this book. So it was very helpful. Also there are lots of things that you can learn from it even if you have camera other than Nikon. The quality of pictures were very good and his writing style is easy to understand. He really shows way to get great effects with one or more than one light source. This book motivated me to shoot more challenging pictures.
