Summary: Anyone who loves our troops will love this book
Review: This book first appeared in the Detroit Free Press as a daily series of portraits -- and it was wonderful. As a book, it is even better. Page by page, readers experience the war through the men and women who fought it, from the preparations in Kuwait to the early stages of the post-war period. The sketches and text make you feel like you have met the soliders. One is left with a great understanding of who the troops are and feeling of gratitude and appreciation for what they do for their country.

It makes for a unique and captivating historical account of the war. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn about our brave troops and the war they fought.
