Rating: Summary: It shows her style, unique and on par with masters Review: Outside the Lines demonstrates why Nechita has done more than what most claim to be on par with other Masters like Picasso. While abstract like Picasso, she has a unique style that creates her own genre, one where future artists will learn from but probably have a hard time matching.
Rating: Summary: Very repetitive- and, let's face it... Review: She's not *quite* a master yet. I am an elementary school art teacher, and over the years I have observed more extraordinary child-artists than Alexandra Nechita. Her paintings are extremely repetitive and in the process of this book her art doesn't develop at all.
Rating: Summary: cubist Review: The pictures are repetitive and there does not seem to be any growth in her work.
Rating: Summary: a real talent... Review: There may be some who are envious of this artists skill and there may even be some who genuinely don't like her work. Either way, one would have to be a fool NOT to recognise her immense talent. Anyone who knows any real Artists will understand how themes and colours can be repeated, this is not a bad thing in itself, even the the Great Masters did it, though unfortunately not all of their works survive in order to prove it.
Alexandra should be an inspiration to everyone, (including art teachers) and if everyone had the great fortune to see her work face to face, they'd realize that.
Rating: Summary: It's like seeing Picasso or Chagall at ten. Review: You'll be overwhelmed with talents of this young prodigee. You'll enjoy Alexandras' description of each picture which seems to be created from her heart. This little Picassos' work gives us an insight to her young and inciteful wisdom and makes us aware of some of the simple values of life that most of us have lost along the way. This book is a great center piece on a coffee table. Only drawback is that Alexandra has created numerous new pieces that are not published in this edition. That's okay, art collections will anxiously await her next book.
