Summary: well written, well illustrated
Review: While giving clear 'how to' instructions for those beginning drawing, this book treats drawing in a much broader way than simply the realistic rendering of the visual world. It's well written and illustrated with works by a good range of contemporary artists. As an art college lecturer I find this book very useful as a resource for both myself and my students.
