Review: Finally a book about Indian Painting, it is impossible to find anything anywhere, libraries, internet, books, magazines, but Mumbai about Indians who paint and aren't hundreds of years old. I love you Mr. Tuli. You are the light of my life.

Review: This book is unique in terms of the subject matter and the author's depth of research is commendable. The rare interviews with the artists were insightful in providing snapshots of modern art in India. I would definitely like to see updated future versions of the book chronicling newer Indian artists, in addition to a further sampling of the works of established artists.
