Review: highly recommend this collection of photographs to anyone who is interested in stunning pictures, most of these were taken as stylized snapshots, not intended for public exhibition, by a group of extraordinary friends including George Platt Lynes, Paul Cadmus, George Tooker, Lincoln Kirstein, Jared French. The pictures hold their own among the best of 1940's photography.
