Review: If you collect cameras and are interested in Rolleiflex twin lens reflex cameras, then this is an excellent title to buy. Along with its sister book (Complete Collector's Guide to the Rollei Tlr: Listing All Known Rollei Tlr Cameras 1928-1994) these titles give a good background in Rollei history and technique.
Franke & Heidecke popularized the twin lens reflex format in the late 1920s and became THE twin lens reflex manufacturer (copied but arguably never equaled by dozens of other companies). This book tells the history of the line, reproduces user instructions, and even tells what all of the (often confusing) accessories are for.
Great illustrations, tons of information, great value for the money. To get more information you have to be able to read German (i.e. the Rollei Reports by Claus Prochnow).
