Review: Of all the books out there, and there are multitudes which purportedly teach the inquiring designer, architect and artist how to sculpt shape in two dimensions with the appearance of three dimensions with their own hands - this is truly the only book that delivers .......... on the basics of technique through the subtlties of style and nuance. There is no computer software that can replace the human response to the hand drawn line, and Mr. Leach is a master teacher who leads the student through a most deceptively thorough training session which leaves no frustrating blanks in the process. It is such a shame this book is out of print now as well as the first one, for they are both treasures for the artist in all two dimensional media.
