Rating: Summary: Good Book with Good Ideas Review: I recently bought this book, and I was a little concerned about it, because I didn't really know anythign about it, but at the moment i got and got the chance to read it... I was really happy because it has everything I ask for in a good graphic design book: It has the concept explanation, it has tips on money saving techniques and it also has great photographs. The only thing I could ask for is the book to have more pages so I can keep reading it over and over. I really recomend it as an "idea inspiration" book.
Rating: Summary: Great idea book Review: This book is full of great designs that spark the imagination. I use it all the time.

Rating: Summary: Ideas Review: This book is good to get ideas from. However, I found, as a designer who works with non-profits as wellas regular clients, that many of the ideas presented would be cost prohibitive. The major factors a designer deals with on a daily basis with MOST clients are budget, mailing issues and costs, as well as practicality. Many of the ideas in this book look great and are terriffic concepts, but in order to pull them off, you must either have a sizeable budget that covers all phases of the production, or you must have the time and people power to take care of things like the final assembly of the item. It's a good book if you just want to get some neat ideas, but keep in mind the budget you have to work with before implementing or offering any of these kinds of ideas to clients. My opinion would be to go and look at this book in a bookstore and take notes and get ideas rather than purchase.
