Rating: Summary: a hard book to find Review: A nice solid spark if you do identity work. Untitled Books in Soho and Amazon are the only places I've been able to find it, a good inspiration-resource and a refreshing alternative to the overflow of tacky pretentious desin books like Flatness Is God and 007 License To Design.

Rating: Summary: Paul is Right Review: As Paul said, a great book. I first met Paul out dancing out at the Limelight. I trust him with my life. You can trust him with this book review.

Rating: Summary: Correction Review: I appreciate the enthusiam on the parts of Ellen Lupton and her co-author Elaine Cohen for this suprisingly comprehensive survey of my short design career to date - it is both flattering and answers the mystery of the multiple break-ins to my Grammercy apartment. I, however, must protest a rather grave proofreading oversight in the title of the book, which most obviously was to have read "Letters from the Avant Gar: Modern Graphic Design" Again, though I appreciate the honor of this beautifully printed book from two people who are obvious fans of my work, I hope future reprints of this edition will contain the proper title and that the profits from the first run can be put towards hiring a proofreader.thanks again, Avant-Garland
