Summary: Enlightening!
Review: In the past couple years I've become more and more interested in folk and outsider art (the Terra Museum and Cultural Center shows here in Chicago were real eye-openers), and when I notice that a lot of the art I have is religious I wonder why. I was raised a Catholic but I no longer practice, and yet I am fairly well fascinated with this stuff. This book explains it all. Very well written essays and loads of beautiful pictures. The more I learn the more I understand and the more I enjoy.
I really wish this show was coming to my city.
