Rating: Summary: journal entries Review: I really like Gabriel Orozcos work, especially the photographs that document his more ephemeral pieces that he makes in locations around the world that are outside of an artworld context. The pictures in this book are the next best thing to seeing the things in person which is virtually impossible unless you hang out with Orozco. The bonus in this book is that there are excerpts from his journals that show that he may not be the conceptual artist he is often labeled as, but actually has a very poetic and abstract sensibility. His quotes from Borges and John Cage are very illuminating. This book combined with the new book from his MOCA retrospective give a very complete picture of Orozco.
