Summary: A great little reference book
Review: This tiny book is very informative, and nicely designed. It is packed full of information, listed alphabetically, about designers and firms, design movements, manufacturers, and design breakthroughs, such as the Ferrari. Many of the photos are black and white, however, very clear and well-printed, therefore not a drawback. There are plenty of color images as well. It's a compact little book, but the images are still rather large on the page, so not difficult to see. It really only covers the twentieth century, but the content is thorough. The Design Directory series is a great little collection, full of information, and organized so that research is made easy.
