Review: The cover offers up a deceptively alluring image that conceals the grotesque images actually contained in this "photoessay." One might expect clean, classical builds such as the title suggests (the kuros, or "youth" in ancient greek art was the classic hellenized male form caste in an egyptian style), but instead one receives little more than nasty-daddy-letha porn. A huge disappointment, and ultimately quite repulsive to those whose aesthetic preferences the cover image and title are designed to attract. I feel misled, and taken adavantage of since Amazon didn't supply any preview of the book's contents, and the cover image has nothing to do whatsoever with the plates within.
