Summary: A slim book of grainy photographs
Review: Back in the 1980's. I was given a book of George Platt Lynes' photographs as a birthday present. It was a superb collection which I lost when I moved from Boston to Portland, OR back in 1990. I have recently begun trying to locate a similar book of Lynes' work. This book isn't it. The portraits are interesting enough but I do not understand why this book is so intentionally grainy in quality and so very slim! It's a good book for those interested in photography in general, but I feel it will be a disappointment to those who already appreciate the greatness of George Platt Lynes.
