Review: As an art student, and not an architect, I have found this book invaluable for understanding tthe architectural metaphor. Most, if not all, of the authors explain the architectural metaphor and apply it to such subjects as cinema, art, genderal studies, and more. Jennifer Bloomer, author of the first essay, is absolutely brilliant. Her command of the language is simply unmatched and has encouraged me to read her other works.
